Yeah... i often don't master the boss stage. On the early stages it's important to get all 9 medals so you can slip a little on the boss ones and still master the realm. And losing the stamina system (even for a fee) would be broken as heck. People could farm things SO fast if they wanted. Not saying I like stamina systems... but they are an effective balancing/monetary system.
Summon orbs or xp event? Ya that's a no brainer. Get the xp now. You'll have the rest of the week to get orbs.
Stamina recovery rate is the same. The max stamina is based on how many archives you've cleared, and the JP version has a ton more stages right now, so that one's obvious. Daily prizes are the same, but the JP version has an extra login bonus every day that nets you one Mythril. Not sure about event rewards as I missed this particular event in the JP version, but they seem to be the same.
As the game gets older they will probably go closer and closer to JPs system here. Game is brand new so we don't need much incentive to keep going. Also an addendum to my stamina bar comment above. The stamina bar also helps pace players so they don't burn out and keeps anticipation up. It's a brilliant (and manipulative/profitable) system.
Daily rewards are a joke though. They need better log-in incentives. It's demoralizing pulling a 1* every single time. Up the chances for 2-3 and then maybe I'll feel incentivized. And if I'm not incentivized then I'm gone. It's just the nature of these games that once you stop logging in daily your done.
Woah. Just got crazy lucky and pulled a Masamune! Don't have any mythril and the elite dungeons I'm on are too hard yet so I won't be seeing the buster sword anytime soon. Where are you guys farming summon orbs besides the daily event?
I believe Rufus drops them. Last level ofshinra tower. Payoff isn't worth it to me yet tho. Even if you got one of the high end summons, it wouldn't help as much as most other things. Unless it's for funsies. In which case, go nuts!
Yeah Rufus drops a 3 or 4 star summon orb every time. While I am sure there are more efficient things I could be doing... I will be farming him until the event ends (except today.... Need exp!). Guaranteed drops of a rare material for a limited time only are too good to pass up!
You should spend all ur stamina on clearing the normal exp dungeons. Once your chars are 30ish, u'll rip through that dungeon with your lightnings. Level seems to play a huge difference. My 'main' team are all 40ish now after grinding on the daily EXP dungeon (except for Sephiroth). Also, dun forget to throw in Kain & Rydia for the Realm Synergy boost
Hmm. I assumed that the game would stop giving stamina vials after a few more dungeons, making everybody reach a maximum level of stamina so that players would have to keep returning to the game frequently, as is common freemium practice - I was also assuming this max level would be pretty soon, perhaps 50 stamina. I'm happy to be wrong, though. How much is your current max stamina in JP version?
How did you get it that high? Mine has been stuck at 42. I really hate asking such a noob question.... But what is the difference between mind and magic? And what is preferred for magic attacks?
I'm playing both the JP and the International version. The JP version has a lot more content right now. As for your other question, Mind is the stat associated with White Magic and Time Magic, and Magic is the stat associated with Black Magic and Summons. So 'Magic' is the stat you'll want to boost for more powerful magic attacks (except Holy, which is White Magic and I think not in the English version yet).

I'm sorely lacking ranged weapons in my arsenal. Is there a mission which I can farm for ranged weapons or is it all down to dumb luck?
I need lesser lightning and power orbs for the Lightning strike abilitiyI assume the Shinra event is best for farming the Lightning orbs but where is best for the power orbs? And is there a particular floor best for lightning?One that drops but I don't need 10 stamina a go to run?
