Ok i won't bother right now then. I'm using kain who is falling behind and want to replace him for an autoattack squad, but tidus is really my only other option atm.
Yea I'm inching closer with my lvl 21-25 team of cloud, tidus, Kain, tyro, Rydia. Kains double jump does garbage Dmg and he can't do much else so I'm looking to replace. Tyro also garbage Dmg but he's kind of like a utility Mage.
If his spears hit from back row he'd be worth something but he can't take a hit and dmg is pretty crap. Wakka seems better than him in every regard.
Really struggling on 3rd to last run on the Shinra event.Hundred gunner does me as I only have 4 thundaras to hit him with and Rydias Magic attacks are twice as powerful as Tyros.Any tips to levelling up or party/equipment set ups?Need Sephiroth!!!
My current team. Pretty decent as I manage to destroy all hards daily and the seppy tower with ease. Oh I renamed the tyro haha. Something I need to ask abt the formation. What differences putting char in front or behind?
Yeah I'm already all over that! Will be doing it all day!Is there a good equip set up for the stronger characters like Cloud/Tidus as they become useless once the 100 gunner turns up?My Mythril drops have been useless so far for equipment.
In front they hit harder but take more physical damage also, so best for your tanks/fighters. In back row they take less damage but deal less physical damage out, so great for your spellcasters.
Thanks for the hard dailies tip! I can definitely swing them if I spam abilities with my upper 20s level squad. Won't be mastering them for a while... But even at expert the exp gain is huge! Anyone know the 3 star vs 4 star vs 5 star drop rate in the rare relic draw? I imagine the Japanese version has been figured out and we should be similar! Mythril comes in so slow now... I really hope my next pull gets me masamune.... Or any 5 star for that matter
Your Tyro is using a whip, put him in the back row. Whips, bows, shurikens etc. are considered ranged and you can do the same damage while in the back row.
I wanted Masamune so badly, I saved all mythril I had, did the 11 pulls thing, got a Genji armor and crap — Edit: I got mastery on sunday’s hard dungeon already. The exp. is insane.
Yep, the exp is indeed insane. Bumped my Cloud to level 40 and the rest a very close behind. Even Sephiroth is now 30-ish
whew 11 pulls? That must have been like all the mythril you can get for free! At least you got the genji armor though! I got one more pull before the event ends... fingers crossed... but no expecting much :- P
It's actually worse than that. The 11 pulls were with gems. I also spent the mythril I got since I discovered about the possibility of this event. I sure have good equipment overflowing my inventory, but still annoying. The drop rates are insanely low indeed.
Bah... Last pull and got a 3 star staff... Guess no masamune for me. I might be able to sneak one more by end of the event... But it will take clearing more elite dungeons which is iffy at best. Pull rates are indeed bad. MBut as a year plus P$D player I know how this works. They want people to spend money after all! Didn't spend a penny on that game and won't be here either :- )
Yeah, I never spent money on P&D, mainly because I couldn't get into it. It's not very welcoming for new players with so many mechanics and difficult events. This is the first time I spent money in a F2P game simply because I see myself playing it for a long time. I don't see myself spending more money though, I think I spent enough already That said, I think the rates are worse than P&D, because we have a fraction of variety compared to there. At least for now...
So is there a chance (even small) to get good gear out of the free relic draw? The image/banner for it shows 5 star relics... But all I ever get is 1 star... Expected... But the banner image seems misleading if there is not even a chance of it
Yes, it's possible. You can check the items just below the button to draw. You can get both masamune, tifas' gloves, buster sword and more there. Considering the low drop rates I wouldn't hold my breath though
