I started him with a staff but realized switching to a bow did not hurt his healing toooo much but made my offense a lot better. White Mage is def better at healing (esp with the limit break) but tyro does the job well enough and let's you do more damage
Give Tyro a good bow. He can heal party members when need and cause decent damage when everything is fine and dandy. White Mage is too specialised and pretty poor with damage output. Tyro can do decent damage and his heals are more than enough. If you are losing more HP than he can heal, you are going to lose anyway.
I have a 4**** light rod, and Rydia cant wear it, so, whats up with that? (I must have got it from a relic pull? because I cant master the IV elite yet
Nice I actually just pulled my first bow. It's a 4* but still not lucky enough for the 2 main swords. On the upside I do love having tyro be able to do good attack and still be able to heal well with curas, thanks guys!
Been doing hard dungeons last few days. All attacker lineup with tyro (bow + cura) does pretty well there. Chars from 25-32 or so, mostly 2-4* equipment, lots of it junk stuff that I combined up (like the stuff from ff7 event) Probably 9/10 for champion. I autoattack, but cancel it sometimes to get in a cura with tyro. Trick is keeping autoattack running at all times and only canceling long enough to get the heal in, then right back to auto. Edit: money I'm getting today is insane. Curious to see how orb farming goes since I get mostly minors instead of lessers in normal.
Does anybody know what is the effect of the yellow vial at drops during battles? At first I thought that it replenished stamina, but upon inspection it actually doesn't seem to have any effect on this.
Replenishes abilities. So you can use them more if you already used some charges on stuff. It's largely useless so far since you only need abilities for bosses... And can't get one during a boss soooo
I can actually beat the hard event today for gold, just can't get mastery... Taking too much damage still
It's still worth it even at expert imo. The rewards are nuts even if you take a small xp hit. Once you start getting some master rewards you'll pull even or ahead on xp.
Interesting! I haven't even tried hard on the dailies yet. Just been farming shinra tower like mad for the summon orbs. Rufus has been slain many times.... Will take a break from it tomorrow for some sweet exp though! Need to beef up my sephiroth. Got him to 23 already though :- )
Ah so that's it, no wonder I never noticed. About hard daily dungeons: I am consistently beating them, 90% of times on Champion, party at 30-32 level range (except Sephiroth who us 26). Using Seph, Cloud and Kain for damage, plus Tyro for the occasional cure (he's got a Hayate bow now, but still very low damage) and Rydia. Mostly on Auto - it gas the advantage of not wasting ATB time, as long as the attack order is right...
Shock of my life this morning. I had been pulling three star relics ever since I started, and low and behold, Bam! Masamune! Haven't gotten to Seph yet, so it's going on cloud for now. 1500 damage baby! Feels good. Don't give up folks. It can happen to you.
Cloud is 30, others range from 26-29... I can get expert off the gold run which is worth it to me because it nets at least 40k gold a run... I finished the last one with only 2 people standing though, so got lucky with getting expert. It really just depends on how many crits I eat and if they stay of tyro cause he's my healer
I see, I’m about the same level as you are. It seems it’s more a matter of luck for our level then. I’ll try again Edit: it worked, my biggest problem is those ninjas that hurt a LOT. I don’t see myself getting mastery though
Is tidus really that good? I was unimpressed with him earlier, but willing to give him another shot if he's ranked so high... I assume he scales well?
