I legit just got my a** kicked by the elite Antlion before reading this lol Didn't realize/forgot that melee attacks aren't the way to go against it. Does anyone know if there are a lot more abilities in the jp version? I just want to make sure if they're going add more of them.
So just found out a weird thing... If you need gold then sell your growth eggs. I know it sounds weird but for some reason a 1* growth egg sells for 3000 gold but a 2* growth egg sells for 500? At this point in the game for most a 1* doesn't do much anywho but if you're really strapped and can't wait until Saturday or Wednesday dungeon then I suppose that's an option as they've shelled out close to 50 1* eggs by now. That's 150,000 gold. Just a thought. Don't know if it's a typo or not but its on my game.
I just realized that this morning too. Was disappointed when I realized I couldn't get more mithril out of it.
Yup, just checked it, I was wrongly assuming event ends at the same time Tifa's gloves promotion. Sorry. BTW I just retried last section. This time he beat Rydia again, then I decided to flee, thinking that maybe this would reset character stats to pre battle and she would be alive again, just with a stamina loss. Well, it doesn't, she was still ko'ed. Retried anyway. This time, he also beat Tyro, BUT somehow I still mastered the dungeon, even with a novice in this battle. I don't know how, but it worked!
Btw Rydia is not needed to defeat both of the range only bosses on the new event Granted being my black mage is level 27 and still a little bit squishy but still took him down With the help of the light rod (or staff I forget which) and that limit break that comes with it I was hitting each boss for nearly 5k damage with thundara For got to keep the heals on the black Mage and boss should go down within a minute if that And the only other range dude I had was wakka with a crappy 3 star bow lol
People were getting 6K damage with thundara on level 24 Lydia paired with 4* staff/rod. Wakka apparently does better with a boomerang. Can't wait for tommorrow, need some extra money before advancing.
Well still don't need her if people have already leveled up black Mage I guess Can Seph use 4star black magic? Still want to level up my black Mage incase any other hardcore 4star Magic comes up other then earthquake And yeah the only range weapon I have was that bow Haven't been lucky with my Mihril pulls lol
The elite levels are quite punishing. I got owned by Antlion as well.What bothers me is I breeze until the boss, just to get wiped. The difficulty number is a bit misleading as well IMO.
Ok, I am ashamed of ask this, but how the hell do I sell equipment? I’ve been combining them because I thought I could get rid of them... Oh, nevermind, I never entered in the inventory screen u_u’
That's the fun part of all this as it requires different approach for the bosses. Antlion is made to counter melee-heavy parties and will counter for each melee strikes. It is weak against ice, so Blizzard Strike spellblade on Cloud, Blizzara on Rydia/Black Mage does wonders. I kept a set of FF4 eq and the synergy buff is really incredible. I'm currently spending too much time swapping out eqs to tailor for the various realms
Yeah, that's unfortunately standard procedure in this type of game. In Record Keeper's favor, I've found DeNA has changed out the Dailies fairly frequently in the JP version. Like every month or so they change the setting so that you can claim new rewards and take advantage of different synergy.
So once you claim the Mithril rewards for the daily dungeon, you can't get it again the following week?
That's right. Not until they change out the dungeons, and I can't say for sure when DeNA will do that in the International version.
You get thousands of hit points with Thundara?I have it equipped to my lv 22 Tyro with a 3-star Javelin (lv 10/10) and I only do 250 damage. So far, no chance of beating that flying boss on my way to Sephiroth.
Black magics are dependent upon your "Magic" stat. Equipping with a Javelin won't buff that up. Try rod-based weapons instead
