I was really disappointed when I finished all the levels to find that all the final fantasies weren't in it. I really wanted to play 8,9 & 12. Hoping they add them later.
I disagree. I think levels are much more important than items, but they're easier to come by, so there's that. But a high level party with mediocre equipment is going to get a lot farther than a mid-level party with great equipment. You definitely don't *need* 5 star items, either. One of my friends is weird about spending Mythril so she only has access to equipment that drops or comes from the regular free equipment gatcha. She's managed to clear just as much of the game as I have, and she's even beaten a few insane-level events I haven't.
Tyro seems to be best. He can equip better armors and still be able to cast white spells. He's basically a tanky white mage by then which would make him more effective. Elemental damage isnt that difficult especially when you get access to spellblade skills.
Yeah I just gave Tyro a healing spell, too. It's not ideal, cuz his Mind stat is pretty mediocre, but unless you want to sacrifice one of Rydia's ability slots, there's not much to be done about it. White Mage just doesn't have what it takes to go the distance. Once Yuna becomes available, she's a great healer. As is Tellah, oddly enough.
In the Daily Dungeon help, there's a statement under Daily Dungeon Progress :- Once you have completed a Daily Dungeon, it's considered completed in all future weeks. Does this mean we can't 'farm' Mythrils per day? #
I've gotten gold on the two FFVII elite levels, but can't even complete the first FFX one... For reference, I have 1 5-star armor, and some 4/3 star stuff and a party around level 25...
Combat skills If you can craft "Double cut", it helps a lot.Doubles melee DPS. Helps me clear the fist stage of the hard orb dungeon and exit after looting a few lev2 and lev 3 orbs. Try to create one or more if you can. Today you can collect the lesser wind orbs as part of the crafting materials. On Wednesday the power orb dungeon will get you the other crafting materials. Since this is a 2 star ability it isn't too hard to craft and it helps out tremendously in the beginning at least. Have not managed to test out many combat skills yet, but I can say Double cut was well worth the orb investment. After most of my melees have 2 I will see about honing it as honing is quite expensive. Current party is exactly level 30. Cloud, Tidus, Kain, Tyro, White mage(kinda sucks). Base material cost: 5 lesser power orb(2 star) 8 lesser wind orbs(2 star)
Is tyro worth levelling? Being able to equip any combo of gear and ability is nice but his stats seem pretty meh. And being "numberless" seems to be a drawback as well. I currently have tidus, cloud, kain, and wakka attacking, with Rydia equipped with one cure and one attack magic (swapping depending on the boss). I have pretty decent gear and have been able to clear up to the first stage of ffiv elite
Not Sure But I believe Tyro has the crystal used in the core Final Fantasies so he gets buffed from those records. I like the flexibility he gives me. Got a nice 4 star hammer he is using that no other of my hard hitters can use. As far as Cura vs Regen, I can't give an opinion. Was wondering that myself.
Tyro also has one of the easiest "Crystal Souls"/Limit Breaks to earn, so he'll probably be the first character you can push past level 50. As for Cura vs Regen, I say Cura. Regen is okay, but battles are usually short enough that it can't reach its full potential. Cura is basically essential, by comparison.
I feel that way too about tyro, I realize he's the record keeper but not being a part of the original records make me think of him as one of the generic characters. I have him in party though cause I need white and black mage abilities, plus I have a 4 star staff that he can usee
Yeah, the FFX one is the one I was talking about before. Maybe it's just bugged. I get that the Elite ones are supposed to be hard, but they shouldn't then use the same rating scale misleadingly. Figaro Cave is 15 and that one is 17, and despite more than doubling my characters' levels after beating Figaro Cave I got annihilated in FFX elite with only an alleged 2 difficulty increase.
I was struggling with it for a while but after a day or so now I can beat it pretty easily (Sunday's exp day must have helped)
I really like how each segment takes you through a section of that games story. Knowing them so well it almost feels like playing through them again in a funny way.
