This game is absurdly easy. I've played a dozen or so dungeons and, except for bosses, I can just leave the battles running on auto and I never die. :/
Is there an easy way to do all the following quickly? - change the people in my party - equip them with best equipment and abilities even if someone else has them equipped? Currently I have to go to each non party member and unequip everything and then go to each person in my new party individually to equip. This is a pain when I'm switching between events and normal story.
Just curious, who's the strongest? I got the Buster Sword yesterday, and Cloud has been decimating anything. He's doing twice the damage of my Danjuro wielding Kain (yes, I've been lucky with my Mythril rolls lol), and 3-4 times the damage Tidus is pulling with some 4* weapon I can't remember the name of...

Same here... this feels weird. Final Fantasy games were always challenging, often from the start. This one feels so easy... I keep it on auto as well... meh.
Did you get Cloud's Buster sword for all of that? I don't want to miss out on it, but I don't have $50 to throw at this atm.
You don't really need to. I haven't spent a cent on it, and I got two 5* weapons (Buster Sword and Danjuro) and two 4* items (Gladius and Red Jacket) through all the mythril you get from the basic story records (x10? x11? I didn't count them). And to the people complaining about difficulty (or lacktherof), wait till the Elite records. My party consists of Cloud (L22 w/5* Buster Sword), Kain (L18 w/5 *Danjuro), Tidus (L22 w/4* Gladius), Rydia (L18 w/3* Mace) and White Mage (L22 w/4* Light Staff), and after beating the first two Elite dungeons, I got destroyed by the Boss @ Zanarkand Elite.
The game's difficulty picks up quite a bit later on. I think it's actually tougher than most of the FF games post-NES era. It's weird for me to hear people say they associate the FF name with challenge. Part of the wide appeal of the series is how easy it is to play through the main content of each game, never impeding the player from following the story. Think back - how often did you have to do anything other than mindlessly hit 'FIGHT' in non-boss encounters in FF7? You can actually get through 99% of FF6 just holding the confirm button. I've tested it, haha. Spoiler Sephiroth
Hrm apparently I hjust hit the content wall, told more is coming soon. I hit this wall in ffvi I believe.
