I'm afraid of the sameness too - it seems like most people have Lightning/Cloud/Shantotto/Tidus going at this point. (My 5* Ramza seems more rare; whether it is, or whether I'm slightly crazy for using it, I'm not sure.) I tried playing Fallen Ace earlier today, but only managed to get one bite in half an hour of trying to start a match. Had a little more luck with Reverse, but everyone there had the same cards too (1-1-5-5 Goblin being the 4-A-2-A Lightning of that mode). I feel like I get the quickest hits for new matches with no rule alterations at all.
Have a 5c. Was able to play TT for a few days but can't get it to work now. FF 1 works ok though. I was also wondering if possible to delete FF 1 without deleting the entire app.
I wanna try and play online but game center doesn't find anyone. I'm on the +2 time zone and my Game Center name nick is clette or borismelloul@iclould.com. Let's play. Maybe you'll win nice cards from me!
I just started yesterday, if u dont mind can u help me in the pvp for me to get my hand on the 5* cards pls >_<
I was getting discouraged because I couldn't find any opponents in versus when I used any specific rules but I have now found that I can usually find someone in Roulette (which is random rules). Roulette is pretty fun because every game is different and it helps a lot with keeping each game fresh. If you are searching for your first 5* cards then roulette is probably your best shot as well.
The problem is everyone in versus has all five 5* card and I have no chance to win a single match to unlock new rules...
Gaining new cards is so easy yet so broken, which is why I gave up on this game. It's overall a good game but once people are able to get a set of strong cards, they'll win 9 times out of 10. Then you just keep taking all the cards you need from winning. It's a flawed system. Since there is no true match making besides picking the rules, it's easy to get wiped fighting the strongest players over and over. They just need to make a paid version that has some progression / fighting unlocks with online battle mode as only a supplement.
Anyone else noticed a change in opponent decks in the last day or two? I'd never seen an opponent with a duplicate card before today, but just today, I've seen several opponents do so (Cloud with two Cait Siths; multiple characters with two Barrets; etc). I've hit a bit of a roadblock in vs. trying to finish off 5* cards - hardly anyone seems to use Agrias or the non-Dissidia Warrior of Light. Would love to trade for those if anyone can help.
