Adamant Cave : Exit the underworld, and fly to Mythril (assuming you are in the airship capable of holding the hovercraft). Fly south to the string of small islands, and drop the aircraft and land on the one that has mountains and a small town. From there, take the hovercraft to the island with a cave on it. Enter the cave, and when prompted give the Rat Tail to the people in the cave. They will give you the Adamant. . Visit the Blacksmith : Return to the underground in the airship and head to Kokkol's Forge. Fly to the bottom right hand corner of the map, and land near the small cluster of houses. Inside it is a single house. Go into this house, and down the stairs to the right. Give the Adamant to the dwarf. . Obtain the Sword : The blacksmith will begin to forge the sword immediately on the first floor. If you have not yet been to the moon, he will tell you it is not ready. But once you have been to the Moon he will give it to you when you speak to him. I see that this app was updated again today. Has anyone heard of plans to add iCloud saves to this long game? That would increase its appeal to me.
Any new players thanks to sales, etc.? I think the first two story achievements (Mission Accomplish? and Assault!) are broken. I know they were once active, my friend has them, but he played in 2013.
I find it amusing that the very first screen you see starting a new game has a giant spelling error right in your face. LoAd captain Cecil. And right away after that everyone is calling him loRd captain. Seriously, how is it even humanly possible to miss something that obvious?? Mind boggling.
I'm going to chalk that one up to a "damn you, autocorrect" moment. It's how Ragnarok became Kangaroo in the GBA version of Tales of Phantasia. Must be awfully hard-coded if they haven't fixed it yet, though.
How does this play? I had Final Fantasy on my S3 but it didn't run so hot. I think the phone was just on it's way out, hence why I got another one but never redownloaded Final Fantasy. This run pretty good?
The framerate is not good. It's a DS port, and though they upped the resolution, they seem to have kept the FPS. If you're not framerate sensitive, it's decent enough, I suppose. No crashes or any funny business like that.
Well, got the "64-bit support" update, which borked the sound (EDIT: I'm stupid and still had the mute switch active), but "LOAD CAPTAIN" IS NO MORE! Still, why don't these games allow config options before starting? Would like to see this in pre-stretchy ratios. (Would add the screenshot, but dunno how in-app.)
I noticed this went on sale just now. I have it for Vita, but was thinking about double-dipping and picking it up on iOS. Did they ever implement any sort of cloud save?
