i think it would be nice , because the first ff i played was 7 so im looking forward to play the older titles too they the games that started it all.
Could they've have made the d-pad any larger? (Delivered in my best Chandler Bing impression). Actually, I like the limited-view effect.
That D-pad is way too big, They need to downsize it and then cut off the diamond tips to be able to move it to the left and down.
I was just reading through the last few pages of the thread and I noticed this, so I'm just curious. Is it still worth getting if I have A LOT left to go in the game? I loved playing it on my PS2 (with the PS1 discs of course) and I think I'd play it much more if I had it on my PSP. Does it wreck it that much? And has there been any info concerning release dates? I don't feel like reading over the entire thread.
No info on release date. Midian had a similar question about FF7 on the PSP, so he asked me to take a picture of the screen. It came out a bit blurry, but its should give you an idea. The main issue is that it looks pretty dinky on the small screen (it's actually inset). It's definitely playable, but for a game that is known for being immersive and epic, it's a bit of a let down.
Wow. One a scale of one to ten that looks like ass. The yshould have revamped the control system for a TOUCH SCREEN. You know. Like the touch screen on the device they're targeting with this game.
i've played other games on my PSP like Resident Evil 2, and wasn't taken out of the action and this seems no different since the screen size can be changed. Plus I never had that problem playing Crisis Core, so the original FFVII should be fine. I'll probably get it, thanks for the info.
Man the controls look ugly..... But this is still in early stages of development, so anything can change and improve with time
I would like to see more games have the option of adjusting the size of the pointer. I believe 1112 was the game I was playing that asked this, maybe not, but it made all the difference as I have pretty substantial fingers. Either way, I played Final Fantasy the day it was released on NES and have beaten it in various forms over the years. I'm a big nostalgic gamer so I will be purchasing this release day.
