I think he meant he was 23 hours into his game, and at that time heading to Qu Marsh. Makes sense. I spent at least two hours at the beginning just playing the card game. Then I spent a few hours leveling up for the fun of it. I'm 9 hours in and only now exploring Lindblum.

Haha. Yeah, I should probably getting moving through the story, but for some reason I just want to stare at every charming background and just listen to the music. And then steal everyone's cards! Hopefully, I'll explore Lindblum today when I'm done working. I don't remember it at all, so it should be fun.
Yeah that's what I thought he meant. My point was he is over doubly my level and play time up until that point, that is some serious grinding! Didn't know if it was a case of "oh didn't you go to x and complete side mission story quest y?" sort of thing. But as you said, maybe he is just taking his time (not as though I am exactly doing a speed run as I am exploring every nook and cranny I can find in the towns etc).
Yeah i spent a long time playing the hot cold mini game at chocobo forest and spent many hours in treno playing at the collesium. And grinded my a*s off to get to level 30 no cheat codes or max level or anything
The good 'ol grinding we used to do back in the days..i spent alot of time on chocobo treasure finding..getting frogs..eating any enemy for quina to learn the ability..levelling and mastering each ability and wont move on the next story until im strong for the boss and take my time stealing all its carried items before killing it..sadly i cant steal something good on beatrix
Don't worry. Me too. Me too. My wife bought me an iTunes card to get all the in-app content in ATB a while after it was released because it was my birthday. Last year, I got FFVI for my birthday, and for this birthday, she gifted me FFIX. We've come a long way in a couple years!
Love that except it bugs me SQE didn't fix the naming for the first three. FF3 with the "..." especially bothers me :\ They should update them to make them all uniform. And fix the blurry FF9 icon.
I think I've got mine still on the gray. I saw that you could switch to blue, but I just haven't bothered. My FFVII menu is all blue, so I might leave IX gray to be different.
I used the grey window color scheme, I like the new fresh look. Sure classic is good but I wanted this port to feel extra fancy. Just my taste though! Btw I put in many hours into the card game and as much as I love it I hate it at the same time. Watching my rarest 3M14 card get defeated when attacking a 0P00 card is utterly ridiculous. I feel like I'm playing a Japanese mobage game... And after maybe 3-4 hours of total card play time, only ONE card has upgrade to an X. And it's one of the starter cards I never touch anymore. Great.
