Like I said, I enjoy spending money on reasonable purchases (the magicite purchases are so, they give you a nice boost that is otherwise impossible to gain in such a short time). The amount of money you have to spend on lapis is, imo, unreasonable, but would be more reasonable if they had specials every now and then for more lapis or more evolving materials. As I said before, it was one piece of one awakening material, not an entire stock. I did eventually get it, but it took a couple days of just doing the awakening vortex, without doing anything else. I'm just worried that Bartz was the easiest and that when the others unlock the ability to get 5-stars (they haven't yet for some reason), I'll have to stop playing the game for a week or so to get them the last few materials they need. However I will say I am very happy with how fast energy recharges. At rank 20, two and a half hours later and you've got a full bar again. Energy is quite generous.
Only certain units can get to 5 stars. Some units max out at 4 stars. Some even max out at 2 or 3 though nobody really uses those units. As for grinding awakening materials, there are two things I recently discovered. First, look around online for info on the particular material you need. I just assumed I should grind the Adv stage for materials to get Exdeath to 5 stars but found out the specific matierials I needed drop more on the Int stage, and the farming picked up, I'm only 1 sacred crystal and 1 farplane dew away. Also make sure you have a unit with steal and steal from everyone. It will really build up your crafting and awakening matierials. I've gotten a lot of hard to come by awakening materials from stealing in the colosseum.
Same here. Completed the story with 3x*** and 2x**** including a friend as healer who was at ****. Wouldnt call it a challenge either. The battle against the white dragon to get a Murasame on the other hand was quite challenging at around rank 17. Some luck involved. I spend a fair time on the Wiki to farm materials, weapons, espers, armor, etc easier and had enough mats to evolve Cecil and Exdeath both from *** to ***** and almost max leveled in the last couple days since the event dungeon was up. Highly suggest to take a look at the Wiki cuz it makes things muchs easier.
New island announced including more content and a new esper. http://brave-exvius.com/threads/the-story-continues-7-28.1503/
So they celebrate 5 million downloads by giving me 10 metal mini cactuars but to receive them I'd have to spend 200 Lapis to increase my unit capacity twice (or get rid of some of the common units I haven't finished leveling up for trust rewards yet). That's kind of pathetic. They should let you pass your capacity and then use up the cactuars before being able to fight like they do in every other circumstance. I'm definitely not doing it for mini cactuars.
### I'm laughing so hard at this one quest for the old woman in kol. She asks you to tell her DAUGHTER to come back home from lydira but when you talk to her she's like "IM A GROWN MAN AND I DO WHAT I WAAAANT" "I WONT COME BACK TILL IM A GROWN MAN"
So, I have over 200 energy and it won't let me collect any box that contains energy. So, in order to get the lapis I HAVE to play frequently or my energy accumulation is hindering my ability to get free currency and characters. Man, if it's not having enough energy, it's having too much. Wish they'd just get rid of the darn energy in all their games.
I downloaded this when it came out but Really haven't played it. For those who have played it consistently since release, are you still enjoying it?
I was enjoying it a bit, but every time I use my battery cleaner to clear out my phone's cached data and get gigs of space back, the game's data was removed too! So, because of their programming, is have to redownload it each time I cleaned my phone. For that reason, I just deleted it and gave up trying to play it.
I personally love this game! Been playing straight since I started, 188 days. Rank 76 means I almost always have energy to play and the recent addition of per-mission challenges means thousands of free lapis. Overall it's an amazing game, I've spent less then $6 total and that feels like it's been more then earned by the developer. While it is disheartening to pull 20+ rares and not get who you want...I almost always end up getting a useful character or three and now I have many 6* characters I'm in the process of awakening. Great game, give it a chance! Oh and I've never had storage space issues ok my phone. I don't "clean" my iPhone since it's not needed...but there are people who convince themselves they need to run 3rd party apps to "clean" their devices...and usually end up in the store seeking help from a Genius. #
I got bored and started playing this last month. I'm sure glad I did. What a spectacular game. Yes, the energy sucks a little fun out of it but if you don't spend your lapis on summons and reserve it for inventory expansion/energy you should never have any problems. Doesn't hurt to sink a few dollars into. I don't mind spending the money as long as it feels worthwhile and they keep updating - which they do often. Just my 2 cents from a lifelong FF fan.
They might have updated it, because I came back before the anniversary and haven't had a problem with the data being deleted from my cleaning app. In fact, it runs really smooth. And, it is a really decent F2P game. Even when you run out of stamina, you can still go into towns and do some quests. If I can ever pull Noctis, I may start investing Lapis elsewhere. Haha.
