For anyone who's actually playing the game and not in this crazy reroll cycle... what is the Star Quartz used for? Can ANY 4* go to a 5*? I try to awaken and they are blacked out. No they're not maxed yet but neither are some of my 3*'s but they at least give me the options. I'm on the second continent and just finished the desert. I'm loving this game so far and I never rerolled. I don't have any 5* because my luck is crap but I do have a team of 4* and they're doing just fine. Only got killed once because I wasn't paying attention on auto battle (; well then there's that time with the White Dragon hahahaha my team is around level 30 right now.
I honestly rerolled ONCE, (only because my first set of 10 heroes was just god awful) and I got a bunch of FF VI the second time, including Cecil, Kain, Cyan, Sabin, Rydia, Shadow...and FF VI is my favorite game, so I just rolled with it. Also...sometimes you get heroes that are already ascended, is that a big deal?
I think the hero is already ascended, thats why its blacked out. Some heroes come ascended..youll notice by their graphic is different (they look super saiyan almost)
Ahhh ok so all my 4*'s are as high as they'll go then. That sucks kinda. I was thinking I could take anyone to 5*
Im pretty sure ascending, and adding more stars are two different things? I could be wrong tho? If not, then yes some heroes can only be 4 starred. Im very new to the game, but I know five star isnt the max for everyone.
I rolled Exdeath and Cecil, too, and then... dropped it because i wanted Vaan. Everyone was talking about Vaan here, Vaan there. Did a search on reddit afterwards and quickly realised what I had done and that Vaan really isnt the grand prize you should go for. He might be great at the moment but longterm Exdeath and Cecil are just plain better. Everyone is shooting for Ex nowadays. I deleted the game and was so fvcking sad that I dropped my Ex/Cecil account. But I couldnt resist to download it again lol. 10 rerolls later today I just draw Exdeath and Cecil again. Felt off my couch and couldnt believe how lucky I was. :'D Just wanted to share my joy.
haha Nekku, this game just WANTS you to play it. If you delete it and reinstall it later, do you think it will drop you all top5 together just to convince you
So can we expect them to push out the amount of content as they do in brave frontier? By that I don't mean literally the same amount because come on, brave is HUGE right now.
And this my friend is huge. There is a Japanese version of the game, some months ahead of our version, which has a lot more content, 6* character evo's (hence why the rerolls become important) and a lot more. I liken it to Puzzle & Dragons, which had a similar thing.

Yes, your 3 star characters can rank up to 4, 4 to 5 etc. so don't bother wasting time rerolling, lucky i didnt discover this cheat until after i beat zone 1. Got a rank 4 galuf/rydia/cyan to start with anyhow so its not too bad! just play the damn game its the best final fantasy on the iphone since ff dimensions!!
Top tier characters future-proof your account. And the game hands you one of the best healers just by playing through the story.
The best roll I seen so far for f2p player is getting exdeath and cecil. The rest are quite crappy.. Probably won't go far though.. Some even play with those 4 stars max as their main.. Lol
