Completed the game. Missed four pieces of memory. Great game, loved it! Especially loved how bosses singing when fighting.
Hey ColeDaddy, I'm sorry to hear that it's overheating for you. However, the XR was one of the main devices we tested on and it should not heat up the device more than most of the 'demanding' games on the iOS store.
I'm really not sure why this is happening. I even deleted the app and redownloaded it after the latest update. My phone still heats up.
It's not your phone. The game is quite the powerhouse, despite the graphical style suggesting otherwise. Remember, these aren't static point 'n' click backgrounds. Klaus is right though, your phone should be getting as warm as it does when playing something like Mosaic over on Apple Arcade.
Update: We are currently working on an optimized version of Figment, however it does come at a price. Figment will run at 30 fps on all devices and should solve issues like overheating and poor performance on older devices. We really wanted to get those sweet, sweet extra frames but it's for the better. I'll post once again once it's live. Apologies for the inconvenience ColeDaddy.
Thanks for considering creating the option. Like you, I prefer the hi-end experience. The XR isn't too far from the 11 to warrant any marked depreciation in gameplay performance, hence, the head-scratching...
Update: New patch is out! You will find new options in: Settings > Video Power saving mode option: Locks frame rate to 30 fps, I believe it is toggled on by default Graphics Quality Slider High: all the good stuff Medium: Lower resolution, anti-aliasing still on Low: Low resolution and no anti-aliasing ColeDaddy, let me know if this improves performance on your device! So Figment: Creed Valley will not be a DLC. It is going to be a standalone game! We regularly post updates of the Steam page Regarding mobile, yes it is planned. Bringing Figment to mobile has helped us understand the process better. Hope this answers your questions!
