With all due respect pal, I know you're excited for this game (as I certainly am), but I'd figure the dev is pressured as it is as he finalizes whatever he needs to prior to submitting it to Apple. Maybe we should give him some space so he doesn't have additional things to worry about and we can get a polished, quality game.
After I finish throwing ALL MY MONEY at the dev, I'll probably only have enough left for McDonald's... So, you know, we'll just go hungry instead. Edit: Also, and sorry if this has been answered before, are yoy able to customize the appearance of your A.I. Partner?
Don't really see any problem with anyone wanting to know when maybe to expect a release. Part of this forum thing is to get excited about pending new games and share personal thoughts about things like that. What I really don't like, is people who feel the need to take a defensive tone towards others in this forum when they're doing nothing wrong. Sounds like a bit of 'mouth-before-brain' disease to me... Also, a dev is gonna do what he wants to do and we're not forcing him to do anything he doesn't wanna do, so maybe you should get that out of your head, too! Hello!!!
haha And she would fight besides you if anything go wrong in the street No problem, it's alright ;-) As Saansilt kindly mentionned, I'm a bit pressured right now, to the point where I don't even have the time to answer my own mails, but this is part of the game, and part of the release excitement If I could offer you a Royal Cheese for your support, I'll do it right now Right now I chosed to enable re-customization only for your character, not your partner, in order to add more personality, and in terms of game mechanics, more reasons to change regularly. Hiring a partner doesn't take that many fights to win, and for one particular challenge, only takes one ;-) Ok, I'm spending the week end on making sure the transition between demo / full game happens smoothly, and then goooooooooo to Apple ! Meanwhile, I took a screenshot below from Samsung's latest Galaxy S4. There are some pretty intensive bloom effects for this level, that can be gpu heavy even for the iPhone4, but you'll be able to turn them off. On S4 it's running at 50 fps though, full details. This should be how it looks on latest iOS hardware too.
4, but still a demanding VFX for 4S : it's not some classic bloom, but space based, calculating upon light sources, blurring halos, etc. I didn't put it on more than 2 stages anyway, as "too much bloom kills the bloom"
Free with 2 martial arts + quick matches 2.99 € (IAP) for full game. dont know the Apple dollar conversion yet. (no other IAP)
I see. I hope it won't kill performance then. Now that we know the price, what about the filesize? I have some PSP games that take a lot of space
Quick question: How much of a stat difference can I have with my fighter? Say I make 2 tae-kwan-do characters, can one be specialized in speed and the other be a slow, heavy hitter?
Hi guys ! Just finished packing the final build smoothly, now I'm working on Apple's server transaction, and then here we go ! I also took the opportunity to add some cool postprocessing visual effects here and there. Hi Thiefwriter ! Currently, stats are constants, only changing with the type of art you select. The only way to boost one of them is to buy an implant in Career mode (up to +10% boost). There are also some Career fight rules that can boost temporarly any of your stat, but I'll let you discover them by yourself ;-) Anyway, I got wider plans for Kinetic Damage, that include more stat tweaking. But for balance reasons, I don't want to give too much flexibility in stat tweaking, or Arts wouldn't have that much difference in the end.
