It's been bad since the soft-launch. Game is good, freemium elements are horrible.

What's wrong with most people? We have ihardware, yet you complain about the freemium/timers. Spend some moneyzz (most of us are rich), support chillingo & glu games. Stop being cheap. Maybe you should go buy an android handset if this is what 'gets' to you. I have no trouble dropping $100 on the top IAP. I enjoy this game, so I've given my support; you do the same!

Yesterday i finished this game. Didn't use iap, didn't have to replay old level to gain game cash. As most I don't like iap and that kind of pression to spend money that we can see in too many games nowaday.
Nonetheless I really enjoyed playing it and I found it not so difficult.
If it weren't a freemiun game I would have gladly paid some bucks for it.
    That said... de gustibus...

    Exactly!

Why would people throw money at a game that... stops you from playing it... the very thing it wants you to do with it?

I refuse to pay money on anything with a timer stopping gameplay.
There is no way I'm supporting it.
    None.

Wow, my comment was deleted? Because I quoted another site? Classic.

Glad that Mr. Musgrave docked this game appropriately in his review. It's about time the reviews reflected the true Freemium aspects of titles like this.

it is actually pretty good...i have been playing it for a week now and have not hit a paywall, you just need to be some what careful with what you buy...no where near the frustration that Glu games gave me.You really get a sense that YOU are the badass here, not the enemies who come swarming at you. normally I hate Free games because of the inevitable demand for IAP. I have progressed to the last tower and not once have felt the need to put any money in. There is an energy timer but it restores relatively quick and if you play for 30-45 mins at a time then take a break or load something else up....you don't even really notice it.

Just because a game has IAP doesn't mean it's some evil agenda to rip you off, it's really getting annoying to see this mentality in so many threads

  13. Yeah, could be a really cool game. Too bad.

Nope... i've been playing this game straight for 2 weeks during the soft-launch, and never was I really able to play long sessions coz of the timers.

And did i ever say anything about an evil agenda to rip me off? I said the pay model is horrible because even if you paid $10 for this, it wont be long til you have to pay to play again.

Anyone here playing this game? I'm liking it so far and have been replaying levels to build up my cash supply to buy and upgrade weapons. Anyone have any tips or tricks? :D

I still play this game. It's the best best em up on mobile. Yes timers. But they recharge fast. Good progression model. Upgrading. Badass weapons. Fun gameplay
