You can choose either. But I'd like them to add the "swipe to score" gesture for the d-pad + virtual buttons as an extra as I think that could be theone gesture that does work better ie you can choose side of goal and height of shot etc.

But it'll be interesting to see if the GAMEPLAY is improved as well as adding new control system - to open up to a more casual player is my guess.

Has anyone noticed EA have taken down FIFA 12 and below? I wonder if theyll do that to 13 when 14 comes out

It will, front menu will look alot like console one.
There are some features from console/PC that will make way to mobile version.
"FIFA 14 will release day and date with the console version" - 148Apps, Fifa 14 is set to release on September 24th (NA) - 27th (EU) for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC,and on Xbox One and PS4 later.

They (EA) focused more on tactical side of game, that is one of reasones for gesture touch controls, but previuos control scheme (virtual joystick) is also there.

My guess is they pulled older versions of Fifa mobile as they will release Fifa mobile online this year.

Fifa 14 is going to be a free to play title. It was just announced at the Ea conference.

Why do EA persist with this old PSP lookalike graphics model nowadays on iOS? The newer devices are capable of some phenomenal graphics like we've seen in Real Racing 3, NOVA 3, Asphalt 8, Modern Combat 5, etc. These games do far more on screen than a football game ever could so surely a graphics engine on par with even earlier Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of FIFA isn't asking too much?

So we must buy the kick of feature, wow so lame. It would be better to buy the whole game instead of just game modes.

I'm guessing $. It would probably take a huge chunk and team to port over the engine. EA knows they're going to sell a boatload anyway, why spend more?

Actually I don't mind this at all. If people want to pick and choose that makes it a better deal. If it costs a little more for the full package, again that's no great shakes as FIFA is a good game.

Again, with graphics I don't have any problems with the current version as it's excellent and tbh GAMEPLAY > GRAPHICS.......

    But,

I want EA to be f careful with adding FRUIT-NINJA CASUAL bs controls. If that ruins the controls I normally use I'll be livid.

As said, I'll be fair to EA with the above - but - I won't be happy if they screw over the game play to get more casuals in. Let casuals use the fruit-ninja and let hardcore players use the best controls where players have the MOST CONTROL over the gameplay.

    Fair Trade.
