FIFA 10 (+ screens) out Oct 2nd?

according to their twitter, fifa 10 is scheduled on early october

 

I have just figured out how to estimate the launch dates of all Electronic Arts Sporting games

Gameloft's version release date + 2-3 weeks

Looks good cant wait

They should just give up on the sports genre, leave that to EA,
and concentrate on the FPS, Racing, and Action/Adventure games that they do well.

Yay, October 2nd! That's only 9 days away! Graphics look much better than RS10. There's also a lot of depth: 200+ teams, 30 leagues. Even player customization! I hope they include a dream team creator, that was my favourite feature in FIFA 09 for the consoles. I hope that the joystick isn't 8 directions like in Real Soccer 2010. The 360 degree joystick like in X2 Football is much easier to use. Overall, looks great, most likely could be the best football game on the App Store (although there's not much competition).

Hopefully the AI is challenging enough. EA has a tendency to water down their games. A good example is Madden 10 which is a good football game for what it is, but frankly, the game has no difficulty settings and is way too easy. They need to do a better job at balancing that out.

 

Yeah, I agree with Albie.

Even though Madden is great, it's way too easy. They need a difficulty setting.

True, but Tiger Woods was quite a bit tougher. Lot's of gameplay in that game too. Hopefully they won't water it down too much (or at all)
