Besides, why are we comparing X2 Football 2009 and FIFA 2010? We should be comparing X2 Football 2010 with FIFA 2010...

I'm assuming your yet to test out fifa 10 and pes 10. I'm sure after you try them you won't say fifa is inferior. Fifa since the introduction of the next gen consoles has been the better game. I used to love pes on the ps2

Anyway, I'm sure that X2 Football 2010 will be pretty competitive with FIFA 2010, that is, if FIFA 2010 was to be successful.

Im assuming you havent played FIFA since about 06. Since then Pro evo didnt change at all while FIFA continued to improve. 09 was such a fantastic game while pro evo seemd the same as it was like 3 years ago. FIFA graphics are way better, Exclusive licence, Much better modes both online and off. Pro Evo has nothing on it.

I'm concerned with the AI/difficulty because EA's mobile games so far have been way too easy. Unfortunately EA has decided to make their idevice games VERY casual-friendly and watered down. I really like Madden, Tiger Woods and Need For Speed but they are all way too easy and the AI is disappointing although it's really not that big of a deal because I would prefer to play those games on my 360 anyway. However, I would like much better mobile versions of those games because I travel so much but oh well...

It does look pretty, though. Hopefully FIFA will have impoved difficulty and smarter AI but I doubt it.

Why not? This is an obvious trend in all of EA's games.

I have X2 and Real football now. The best thing about X2 is that it saves mid-game if you are interrupted by a call. However, the game modes aren't great, and the players run in a really bizarre way. Looks, well, pretty funny to be honest, although unintentionally. At least in Real Football the players run in a fairly realistic way. But then again, it lacks a decent career mode (I hate the 'Enter the Legend' nonsense) and online play is worthless. TBH I'm not that impressed with either game. I hope Fifa blows them out of the water, so that I have a footie game that can entertain me for more than 5 mins.

Well, too me, the players in Real Football look short and fat.

Yes, it does. I asked @EAmobile, and he said YUS.

TV reporter? If you're talking about a commentator, then yes, the game has a commentator.

Comments like this make it obvious that you have some agenda against real football. The players themselves look very similar on both x2 and real football. The difference is that on x2 the players run like idiots, but the movement of the ball looks nicer.

    Errr, no.

    Real Football:
    - poor player detail
    - robotic/choppy animation
    - AI with an IQ level similar to that of amoeba

    X2 Football:
    - better player detail
    - smooth/fluid/realistic animation
    - mainly good AI, with the exception of some defenders

If I were to do a full comparison (which would take me forever), I think that you would find that X2 Football is better than RF 10 in all departments, except for team selections (RF 09/10 has club teams, whereas X2 only has national teams).

Come on, you must admit that the way the players run in X2 is laughable. Other than that, the game looks great. It's nice to play, although a bit thin on modes. But it does beat RF2010 on the most important aspects. I just wish the players didn't run around like Forest Gump.
