Agreed, the geoDefense games are certainly for people who like that style. I am enjoying FR rather immensely though..Its been less than 24 hours and its become one of my most solid purchases.
I played the lite..It was way too easy and lacking in so many areas.

The Creeps! Was always on my 'meh' list, I just didn't care for the art style too much so I always passed on it.

I guess I'll have to give The Creeps another shot, since so many people keep recommending it. It just never clicked for me...

for quite a long time time I thought The Creeps is a better TD game and I recommended it as such...

but all in all - considering how much I played before and that I still play it even today - Fieldrunners is the best TD game in AppStore... and DLC for Fieldrunners is better (IMO) than DLC for The Creeps

also you can try geoDefense (hard) and 7-cities (fun)

Are you guys talking about 7 Cities TD? I wanted to like that game but could never get into it.

I definitely wasn't a fan of that one, no.

I'll give it a shot - even if it isn't as good as Fieldrunners, it is probably worth a second look.

Anyways, the one I was really looking forward to is Azgard Defence. Unfortunately, it looks to be cancelled. For those who haven't heard of it, it is a beautiful PC and smartphone TD game developed by the guys who made iDracula. You can check out the PC version here.

Hopefully some work is still being done on it.

Hmm looks pretty good. Have you tried contacting the devs to inquire whether or not its been cancelled?

I asked them about it a couple of times in threads for Knights Onrush and Orions, but never met with a responds.

To be honest, it probably makes good business sense to cancel it. There are already a bunch of TD games on the store, and it doesn't need one more. The development time could be more profitably spent elsewhere.

And since these guys can't even be bothered to add features and fix bugs in their old games, even when these features are still being promised in the app store descriptions, I highly doubt they'd bother with the port.

I have played only a lite version long time ago, and it was quite fun (and it has nice gfx and sfx)... but it was not fun enough to convince me to buy that game (until it was free at some point)

    ... I haven't played it since anyway o_O

[edit] so no, it is not "that good", it is worth mentioning however...

Probably people angry at the extremely affordable and reasonable DLC addition.

I used to play this game all of the time. To bad there are like 7-9 achievements that do not unlock. Including the ones on every level where you have to make it to round 150 in endless. As well as the adding 50 and 100 openfeint friends who also own this game. Pretty sad that such a great game who is Gold OpenFeint Level has such a huge flaw that is easily fixed!

Is anyone else having problems with their IAPs maps not being recognized after the update? The re-download maps option isn't help either. I guess I'll give it some time and hope that they fix it.
