i noticed the update to fix the crashing wiped all my games meh, i'm busy playing creeps and 7 cities maybe when i get back to playing fieldrunners, there will be a fourth map
still crashing with lotsa towers Anyone still getting crashes where the app just exits? Just when I start building up my towers in Drylands I get the crash/exit. Even upon resume, it plays for a brief moment (less than 2 seconds I'd guess) then it exits. Playing Besiegement again with the recent update. Still not the best looking, but at least its stable. Fieldrunners is still unplayable IMO.
Last night I was playing Crossroads, extended, medium difficulty: cruised through to level 100, only to see the last wave does not appear. Leaving the game and resuming still does not give the last wave. Pausing/unpausing, rebooting does not help... I'm stuck on the last screen without the last wave. Anyone else seen this happen? I got the game only last week (I already got most of the other TDs on appstore), and this was my second playing of this game. I don't think I'll play it anymore, as the game is so long and boring I almost fell asleep after level 70 on the first map. I can't believe the following this game has... This seriously needs game modes with fewer waves, more things to do, challenges & achievements. So I bought Besiegement today which I had been waiting for the just released graphics update, and found it much more enjoyable. Matter of taste maybe, but I really hope the Fieldrunners fans check out some of those other TDs too.
Fieldrunners - multiple goo towers i just have a quick question on fieldrunners. of course upgraded goo towers will make enemies move more slowly than regular un-upgraded towers, but will an enemy move even slower than that if it's hit by more than one goo tower?
No, I don't believe so. Edit: well yea, pablo is correct. The timer is reset after each shot hits it, but it does not slow it down anymore.
Happy 100th post sir Multiple Goo towers just expand the range of the slowdown.. You'll notice it when you get one of the heavy tanks or the robot guy strolling around your lawn there, Make sure you have multiple Goo towers, as they continue to slow them down..
New Fieldrunners update v1.2.2 Changes in v1.2.2: - Added the ability to fast forward through the game. This feature is unlocked at round 75 on a per map basis. - Changed the configuration of fieldrunners that spawn in Extended and Endless mode making for a more challenging experience when playing through these modes. - Fixed the execution of the endgame routine that declares victory at round 100 in Extended mode. - Fixed audio from going silent when the device is interrupted (e.g., from an incoming phone call). - Fixed the ability to trap the fieldrunners in a cage of towers. - Fixed the deletion of save games when the device is backed up via iTunes. - Fixed a random crash issue in the audio engine. - Added a score bonus that is awarded for each remaining resource at the end of the game. - Increased the score penalty for selling a tower. - Increased the cost bubble on several of the icons so that it accommodates the width of the text. - Increased the speed of the goo that is fired from the goo tower. Some nice changes there.. I'm glad some of my requests become reality in this update. I know it's not just for me, but I'm still happy those features are there now. edit: deleted my trick. the less people know it, the less likely they'll fix it
No it is not. There was some way that people could actually trap fieldrunners inside a complete square of towers. It wasn't much use as everytime a fieldrunner hit a tower in the square then you lost a life. Glad it is fixed, no point using that glitch anyway
I think so (I think it did with mine). well as long as youre not at some round over 200 i wuldn't care realy. Fast forward is great!
