Mono is there for the taking Unity uses C#/Javascript that's compiled to native code. Monotouch does the same, using Mono. Heck, it's even possible to do it just using Mono, but then you have to jump through some hoops. So it's definitely not the code holding this port.
Oh man. It doesn't happen always, but when it does I am so happy... Fez - Coming to every freaking platform Fish may be many things, but when he says something, he follows through. Even if it takes forever. And ever. And ever. Everyone said Fez wouldn't launch at all, that it was vaporware. Same that has been said about the iOS version. I know it's not a "it will be coming to iOS" but with the success of Bastion and the high profit margin for iOS games, when they do sell (and this one sure as hell will) they sell like gangbusters.
Can't believe people want to support this ignorant fool. He is a complete embarasment to indie developers everywhere.
I'll buy the game the second it hits the App Store. Fish might be a jack hole and arrogant, but Fez is undeniably brilliant.
This is probably dead due to the Polytron hack. My understanding is Fish is out of the business, for real this time.
This just in, fez iOS cancelled because phil fish stubbed his toe. He blames the world. Everybody go home.
Ha ha very good I did enjoy that movie about indie developers but yeah i dont think he came across very well at all. Then there was the whole 'you're being mean, no game for you...' attitude. The game looks great but not a fan of that dev , didnt come across well in that film at all
Phil isn`t working on the Mobile Port of the Game since someone else is doing it for them. The delay of the Game might have something to do with that they wanted at some point launch the Game on iOS & Android at the same time which as everyone of us should know by know can be a suicide mission if you haven`t done it before. I`m still pretty sure that the Game will launch in the next six month for iOS & Android and that we will hear from Phil more auf Fez 2 at the upcoming E3.
