      i personally would like a metroidvania...but i suppose pretty much any 2-D game with rpg elements would be fine.

      A 2D RPG that is on a boat where pirates attack the boat and the main character must defeat the pirates?
      Like Castlevania but on a boat.

      My guess is that's a steampunk game where you are piloting a flying craft over a world of oceans dotted with islands and you get to battle pirates and explore the world for items of value and high seas adventure.

      Hmm...not sure Future. Very nice artwork though, kinda in the vein of Sailor Moon..

      Coming from FDG, it could be "Slingin' Mud" and it would be good:)
