I don't really know what you're talking about, I was only arguing because you invited me to The FIFA games are definitely the best for football, but I find one every 4 years or so to be a good balance... enough time for changes to be noticeable to people who aren't hardcore fans.
That's how I am with sports games and call of duty. Buy a new one every few years. Most games I don't really even notice that much of a difference even after those breaks, but by then you kinda need to buy the newest because nobody else is playing the one you have still.
Favorite game is Dirt 3 hands down. Same with Madden. Only people doing it right at the moment is 2K with their NBA games. EA needs to take notes. That or relinquish the damn licenses. But I still buy Madden every year like a tool.
Just look up FIFA 13 or 14 Ultimate Team trailer. When you have that every year you don't need to care if the mechanism changed much or not.
