Edit - is there a way to size screenshots into the forum properly? What are your favourite classic games and why? Mine: Deus Ex - possibly the best game I have ever played, and one of the few games I have bought twice (recently lost my disc and bought it on Steam). For me the combination of stealth, action, and level design are still unmatched to this day. There are few games that have a world as deep as it has. The Nameless Mod also deserves a mention as though it is more tongue and cheek than its source material it is just as deep (if not more) and well designed. System Shock 2 - the first time I played this, I played it in the basement with the lights out and headphones on. Possibly the scariest thing I have ever encountered in my life. Like Deus Ex this game changed my perception of gaming. Morrowind - I lost a lot of hours in my life to this game, and its construction set. A lot, in fact it was the only game I played for about 2 years straight at one point. Although the actual game hasn't aged well at all - all it needs is a hefty bit of modding and suddenly it is better than anything Bethesda ever put out after Daggerfall. Every once in a while I install this and play it for a little while to see where the modding scene has taken it but I don't really commit to it. However if you have never played it before, it is worth the commitment - well if you have 2 years to spare
Super Mario Bros: Why? Because its Mario Goldeneye: Why? Because its 13 years old and is still the best multiplayer game I've ever played
