So i searched for this but no topic on it. I saw a favorite sport thread but not actual teams.

    mine are

Uni******* of Illinois-Fighting Illini : for college football and basketball

    DA BEARS : NFL

Chicago Cubs : MLB (love Wrigley)

    DA BULLS : for NBA

Not a hockey, or soccer fan so i dont have and favorite teams for those sports. i know most of people outside the US will have a favorite soccer (football) team so list ANY team favorites for ANY sport you can think of

    NFL: Baltimore Ravens

    MLB: Baltimore Orioles

Those are the only two teams that I really follow and am a big fan for.

    Colts? Straight up nasty.

The Patriots will smash them this year.

Exeter Chiefs. A team for a game named 'Rugby' which none of you yanks have probably heard of ;) . It's like 'American Football', just withough the unessacarily over-the-top padding and protection. Just taking the pi$$ if you haven't noticed already ;) :p :D

    Baseball: NY Yankees

and the Mets for the NL only (not all of baseball, as that spot is reserved for my Yanks).

With that as it is, I will make my yearly "World Series will be an NYC Subway Series, Yanks in six" fantasy prediction known here.

But my "realistic" pick for the series will be: Cubs v. Angels, Angels in six with mass suicides reported in Chicago's North Side :p Seriously, Cubs are the powerhouse line up in the NL, and the Angels...well the Angels are just run really really well, play solid ball, and have a pretty good pitching staff, are the runaway favorites in the AL West, and give the rest of the AL headaches.

Stopped watching NBA once Son of Dolan took over the Garden and ruined my Knicks. Some say "real" fans always root, always watch, but, y'know...watching the Knicks after Son of Dolan ruined it all is like visiting someone in prison. You...you just don't really want to go, even though you know you should to show some support. :(

In the NFL it would be the Giants, although NYC isn't a football town really.

Honestly nowadays my sports fix is usually met by watching baseball and MMA.

Don't worry I know what rugby is and I'm a "yank" I just don't know how the game works at all with the piling up people and lifting people in the air

Oh how I love it when the rugby fans mention the padding and "protection", as if NFL players don't practice with gear on, therefore making their hits even harder.

Rugby players do take down tackles. NFL tackles, the old NFL anyway, were like that opening part in Wild America...where the two moose rammed into one another at full speed.

And any game that isn't basketball where the players wear shorts is staight up poom poom (if ya dig my reference ;) )

    (jk, if you haven't noticed)
