Actually Super Mario World is the one with Yoshi, its a different game broly... you're confusing it with Super Mario All-Stars which is the one that has SMB, 2, 3 and "The Lost Levels" remember? Another awesome one was Super Mario RPG Anddd... I never got to play this game until just recently but theres this game called "Hagane", you guys should check it out. You're a robot ninja and it's really intense. (on the SNES i mean). On the 64 my favorite game is Super Smash, but mario 64, ocarina of time and starfox 64 are all classic.
I remember loving almost every game I owned on the Snes I can remember Starfox, Stunt Race Fx, Chrono Trigger I had probably about 30 of the best games on it. The one I probably played most was Street Fighter 2 Turbo (had the tinned collectors edition as well) and when I wasn't at home practising on that I was in one of the local arcade halls playing it there. I think I devoted a good four years to playing almost nothing but Street Fighter 2. It's ironic I've only played the latest street fighter 4 on IOS and hate it's controls there I think it's because I want to pull of everything perfectly everytime and muscle memory doesn't seem to work on a touch device.
There was also a version of Super Mario All-Stars that included Super Mario World. It came out later bundled with the console. Blew my mind, 5 complete Mario games on a single cart!
You guys are all confusing me now. Btw, I forgot Starfox 64 as well... Loved that game! (especially the boss battles )
You really should have played them by now, even if you have to resort to emulation. You don't know games before you've played the SNES Mario games Just look out for "Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World".
Though it was kind of different, I would also suggest Yoshi's Island. The one where you play as Yoshi and you have to babysit Baby Mario and carry him around everywhere lol. That was one of my favs of all time as well.
Yeah that too, I freakin' love Yoshi's Island The DS version is great too, same art style/controls/etc but with brand new levels. Oh, and new characters, such as... BABY DONKEY KONG!
Damn that's rad as shit!!! I never got around to playing it... but I think I will be picking it up now...
Sorry I don't think I get what you were saying... I DID play those games, just at a very young age (5 or 6 i think because I am 14 right now and that is why I can't remember them... only super mario bros 3!)
Ah right. Well... make sure you go back to them sometime. They've aged really well, still as fun as ever. Especially Super Mario World.
Killer Instinct Gold (Fulgore & Spinal FTW) Super Mario 64 Mario Kart 64 (I have really fond memories playing as Luigi) Ken Griffey JR. baseball Donkey Kong 64 (Three words: Donkey Kong Rap) Legend of Zelda OoT (looking back at it, I kind of regret giving my copy of the game to my younger cousin) Conker's Bad Fur Day ( The game over screen used to scare the crap out of me. I was like 5 or 6 when I first played it) A bug's life Turok (also used to scare the crap out of me) Diddy Kong Racing Mickey's Speedway USA Blast Corps Pokemon stadium Smash Bros. That N64 Tigger Game (I was 4 or 5 when I played it) Banjo Kazooie Star fox 64 Dr. Mario 64 Madden (I forgot which edition.)
I know, I never got to own it but I always thought it was amazing. When I was a kid I swore Nintendo deserved some kind of UN recognition for putting so many amazing games in one cartridge. lol! its simple! Super Mario World: New mario game for the SNES Super Mario All Stars: SNES collection of mario NES games then Super Mario All Stars + World is the special edition that blew your mind by having all of the above.
