Hey everyone. Just curious what are some of your favorite lost ios games of yore?

Most of my favorites were lost to the 64-bit apocalypse.

    Shadowrun
    Shadowrun Returns
    Penny Arcades on the Rain-Slick

I would pay WAY more money than I'm normally willing to just to bring these 3 back. Makes me wish I kept an ios device around that I didn't update.

    What's on your lists?

There was this game on iOS a long time ago, strategy game like final fantasy tactics (grid based) but the units were like robots or something. Can’t remember the name of but the main character (or the app icon) was a red robot. Any have any idea?

Run Roo Run, which is apparently being released again this Fall by Game Club. If there are achievements, I’m all over that once again, even if there is a subscription.

The ORIGINAL Dungeon Hunter titles (1&2) As close to Diablo on Mobile as we could get....I mean, they literally were for the most part. Then the f2p DH titles happened and ruined everything.....

^Totally agree. Those were the early days when i got my first ipod touch and got into iOS gaming. Heroes of Sparta was good ! But Dungeon Hunter 1 and 2 i both completed, played those a LOT. To be fair Titans Quest is my 'new' Dungeon Hunter

But Gameloft royally ruined it the second they took Dungeon Hunter freemium, such a shame. At one stage they were the best iOS devs out there then just went freemium and it seemed to go downhill for them as you dont hear much from them now.

But damn DH 1 and 2 years back were superb

Yeah i'll support it but i think it depends on price. If they match the rumoured Apple arcade price (e.g £4.99 a month) i'll do that for sure

But really hope we can also buy them seperately but have to see how it goes. Looking forward to having these new apps featuring lots of new games !

You think in about 9 hours we'll also find out about Apple Arcade as that must launch in a week or so and there'll be loads of new games on that !

Just read in that news item....

"Every game on it will be playable offline and anybody whos previously owned a game thats part of Gameclub will be able to download the updated version for free and play it even without being a gameclub subscriber'

Thats great news. Think that alone will make me subscribe as thats a great bonus being able to play some games even without Gamesclub. Nice touch

REALLY hope the Jeff Minter games come back
