I thought I knew what I was doing but now....maybe not so much. ^.^ My level 2 mage rare 4 star is stronger than my 3 star epic mage level 5? I did put a whole outfit on her but I didn't realize it would improve her beyond him. Then again, I may just be clueless and totally missing something obvious.
Hello, new to the forum here, found lots of useful infos on the game. I also made friend request with peoples listing their game ID here thanks for your nice avatars some of you got crazy toons If you ever want to add me my game ID is Mortel Got lucky and my avatar is currently a 5star epic 2h warrior (stagbeetle) with 1k atk and almost 500 def (he carried me to wonderland without problems) and im presently farming a bit there after reading some advices here.
haha... I train up my 5 star epic Stagbeetle Warrior. I know I need to train him anyway. I'm still stuck with a 3 star tanker. Tanker just dun like me coz I just can't get a hold of higher star tanker. It depends on the area element. As noted by Zentatsu a few post back, char of the same attribute do better. As a matter of fact, it is a multiplication between char base stat against attribute points.
Good to see you back in the forums mate Star ratings definitely has impact to the stats. The following things to consider is the rarity, star rating, max level potential, element, and the skill to measure how powerful the hero is. -Star rating is quite key for the equipment requirements, 5* rare hero can equip 5* rare or epic equipment set which means better equipment stats bonus. -Rarity on the other hand has additional base stats and don't forget the weapon/shield bonus they get wherein rare heroes can only get bonus from armor set alone, and also epic heroes has additional +5 more max level to their rare counterpart(for example rare hero has 25 max level but their epic hero counterpart has 30 max level). -I don't have to explain elements right? -Skill is pretty much unbalance for now, there is certain skill I don't really think that useful. Like dps skill burn skill of mages or gash of warriors is not that useful or spring of mana is better than innervate of priest. Hopefully It'll be balance in the next update. "Only Ideal to new players" as someone mention before, It's good to restart your progress until you get a 5* epic hero for a good start(quite looks like cheating but the game doesn't say you can't do that! lol).. to do that just head to settings and reset game. This might probably get updated on coming updates, It isn't a bug for sure so you can take advantage for this as far the game is allowing us. - What do you guys think about the new fb event, isn't it a bit ambitious? and about the friend slots expansion I tackle in earlier post, there's a fact that the maximum slots you can unlock is 150. edit: I quite talk too much right? and I'm not pretty sure about my grammar as well so please bear with me xD
I think there is a bug in Spring of Mana skill. I have reported it and waiting for their response. When u cast the spell when reaching the end of battle, the skill will not bring over to the next enemy. Maybe coz the enemy change but I reported it anyway Is it only rewarding those that link their account to fb or all the players in FK? That is kinda gray
hi all add me if you havent yet! -maxbrickem so those who have spent 200 diamonds to buy heroes i ask this- i saved up 200 diamonds finally and bought the water hero pack of 11 - i got buncha rares and two 4 star epics which are pretty good and two 1 star epics ( jelly heroes which are lvl 1/1 with no room for growth is that normal btw??) my original question is did get lucky or unlucky w my hero draws? i see a lot of you w 5 star heroes did that take long to get? how many hero draws did you buy? thanks ahead of time for your knowledge!
No that's not a bug, spring of mana is a monster debuff skill. It will target the monster and not an actual hero buff, you'll notice the skill icon will show on top of the monster HP bar and not right side where you'll see all the buffs your squad has. Spring mana is depends on your mage's each hit that will gives a fixed amount of mana to them and this skill can be countered by magic shield(magic immunity; think about loki or vritra) and it only affects the monster you used it into. The innervate in the other hand is an active skill that'll target the hero and has no counter at all, It'll grant fixed amount of mana overtime and this one is I think bugged since when you use this It'll just give mana one go and not 10 seconds overtime which what mentioned on the skill description. You'll never get a 5* epic hero since there's no 5* frozen/water element hero, so you're actually lucky to get two 4* epic heroes. The game currently got 5* heroes on; 3 on star element, 2 on darkness element, 2 on nature element, and 3 on fire element and nothing on water element. That jelly heroes is quite unique though, I remember I got rare of them and if you try to combine them they got 12k/9k of exp transferred despite their level or star rating(haven't see epic so I have no idea how much xp they'll give). I checked the reddit page and there's some good stuff they're posting; this one is quite the most interesting I found: http://www.reddit.com/r/farawaykingdom/comments/2javqd/epic_and_rare_drops_list/ or the google doc version: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/18ys7w9Pq6OGYtRo5DywvhLwJCeKv09fS3kNdW4dxwW8/edit#gid=296260705 Credits: Escaflowne
Hello, Esca here. My Faraway username is my TA name, but I think I'm full on friends. I'm updating as often as I can (energy!) but it's hard to see what the lower areas drop since I go through them so fast, even with my low level heroes. Ehm.. the list is also written in the reddit thread but for some reason the subreddit's CSS doesn't allow proper linebreaks and the tables look like shite. I just recently made the spreadsheet and I know it's messy but it's the most I can do as I'm busy this weekend (and maybe the following week.) I'd prefer to make it via Google docs because in my opinion, it looks better than on the wiki. I really want to put together a list of heroes and gear as well but that'd take a while and I'm not sure if I have the time to do it right now. We'll see how things are after this Saturday. This is my first time using TA so I'll try to check here as well if anyone has contributions or suggestions.. ^^ So far it seems like 3-4* drop from Areas 26+, so the rest of the 4*, not sure about 5*, will probably be included in the next update. The DC Droid set seems to drop from Area 30!
I actually decided to work on it tonight, it's going to be hard to do though, as I don't know how much the skill's effect increases depending on what level they are. I have randomly assorted I, IIIs and some Vs.. I'm also trying to figure out how to make it look nice on the spreadsheet. It's a WIP on the third sheet if you're curious!
Welcome to TA community esca! I sent you a friend request in game, feel free to ignore it if you still got full list and send me a request whenever you got free space. I'll try to help to look what lower level drop as soon as possible, maybe next week(I'm still hunting some equipment sets). May I suggest to make two different list? maybe one for rare drops and the other is epic. Since epic isn't lone area drops like scheherazade, danaƫ, jaffar and sally salt set is epic drop of area 21-32(not quite sure though but somewhere that part of raiding area, still pretty broad). The rare drops in the other hand is more categorized on every raiding area.. or atleast 2-3 raiding areas only.
Thanks c: Yeah, I'll probably do that. I wanted to put weapons and equipment in separate categories too but I think it looks fine for now. I'll throw together a list for Epics after I compile a list of my current skills. I don't think there's a wiki with the skills and skill effects yet so... may as well? Edit: I sorted them out, how is that? As for how rares seem to correlate, apparently someone said that area's drops are destiny-based. I've gotten next area drops from the area previous of it though (does that make sense?) but other than that it seems pretty destiny-consistent.
Looks good and It'll better when we fill it with informations, hopefully we can do that ASAP. The more guide the better, I'll try to help out the best I could.
Thanks The skills are really hard to compile numbers for.. it's based on level as well as the level it gains from completing areas. The effects are correct but the numbers are pretty off. Hopefully people don't get upset that it's not exact.
maybe we can put the max level only? I think that what's matter anyway. We can also add gold and exp gain in drop list right? I think It'll be really helpful as well.
Yeah, but I mean, my 4* Jack Dread has a Time Warp V but it's only level 4 (27 seconds), and once it gets to level 5 it'll be 28 seconds long. I'm not sure if the changes are that significant depending on I, II, III, IV and V + the skill's exp(?) level. Tbh it's not a big issue to me 'cause I'm not anal about being that detailed. I just like having a list of the skills and their effects. Gold and exp gain? You mean it's static for each area? I thought it changed depending on what level you are. I wasn't aware of that (I didn't pay attention.) I can add that though, yeah.
