Fara: A New Action RPG by Ex id Mobile Devs

I sent in my pm, interested to see how the game works.

 

From watching the videos, I feel like it's almost like a Battleheart type of game, except with no auto attack and only one character. You move with a tap, but use swipes and draw patterns to attack and cast spells. Just my personal guess from the videos.

 

Did they want us to send our UDIDs' yet?

 

I am interested in beta testing if it's not too late. Thanks in advance for any consideration.

Edit: Okay, let me rephrase that. The artwork is pretty damn amazing. Some of the lighting and rain effects look sweet! You guys have a nice blog going.

IMO, they should've picked the best applications but okay. Picking the first 10 people to PM them doesn't mean that they are the best beta testers. Beta testing Fara could be their first time beta testing a game before.

 

I have beta tested before, but I think it's good to give other people a chance at beta testing a game. If you've never beta tested, and they picked people on that criteria, you would never have new people. It would be the same people every time, and no one would ever get a chance.

 

If devs follow what you said, their would never be any new betas testers.

Exactly. First time testers need to start out with an easier game that doesn't require much testing experience. That's just how it is. The more complex the game the more complex the testing. Picking the first ten applicants won't get you the best testing team.

 

not really into RPG but i think i might just give this a try it looks amazing

 

I have to agree I started out testing unknown small games and worked my way up. It's just part of the process and everyone has to go through it. I do feel like it should of been based on experience but it's fine I just hope the developer gets some good feedback instead of just people wanting the giftcard which happens a lot unfortunately

 

I'll be truthful here and say this is my first beta. I've been waiting for a good looking game with potential that hasn't been mentioned much and this game was perfect.
