You must defeat goblins, trolls, spiders and other unfriendly creatures and stay alive. The game involves collecting various resources and fighting creatures. This concept of the game offers different paths to victory. Randomness is very much a part of this game. You can do many things in the game: fight with a sword, use the potion of transformation, use fire, hunt rats, catch fish, collect fruits, carry animals to their homes and much more. You also have a strong and dangerous dog to help you. Only you need to feed him properly. HOW TO PLAY? Informations on how to play this game are included in the books, you will find in the game (in the form of pictorial information). Here is a video with instructions on how to play in Fantasy Maze: youtu.be/Lbhm9o__RPg The game provides many hours of entertainment. Only Grande Labyrinth (first land int this game) has about 200 rooms. New land Troll Forest is primarily a clash with trolls, the most dangerous creatures in this game. SAVE This is the full version of the game, which does not have a save option. Save is available in the FANTASY MAZE PLUS (for a small fee). The game can be played without save, but I hope that if you like it, you will buy a version with save, which gives you more comfort of playing and I will have more motivation to develop the game. The player is free, but may not know what to do. Players have to figure it out for themselves. The control buttons are sometimes dead. If the developer has prepared a basic tutorial and improved the sense of operation, it will be a decent game. I think it is still an early version. MiniatureWorlds Member Jun 7, 2017 17 0 0 #6 MiniatureWorlds, Mar 27, 2018 The informations what to do in the game are included in the books that are in the hero's home. This is a tutorial in parts. Each of the books contains pictorial information on one selected topic. For example, a book with a fire picture shows how to get a fire, what reacts with it, e.t.c. Hmm... I thought it would make the game more fun. Repulsa Well-Known Member Jul 3, 2015 1,584 81 48 #7 Repulsa, Mar 27, 2018 The problem for me is... I just pick up the item and carry it around? How do you read the books? An inventory and menu would be good. MiniatureWorlds Member Jun 7, 2017 17 0 0 #8 MiniatureWorlds, Mar 28, 2018 Pressing "the cross key" is responsible for most of the hero's actions, including: reading books, attacking, opening and closing doors, searching bushes, lighting wood, eating food and more. Interesting mechanic to have to pick items up then interact with them, but maybe somethings can be picked up but can also be just interacted with without being picked up, like books for example. So is there an idea of inventory or is it carry 1 item at a time? There is some fun to be had here once the kinks are smoothed out. MiniatureWorlds Member Jun 7, 2017 17 0 0 #13 MiniatureWorlds, Mar 31, 2018 In this version of the game you can only carry 1 item. One solution to this problem is the use of teleports. Teleports are mobile. One of them should be located, where there is a lot of resources, and the other one in the currently conquered area of the maze. It allows you to relatively quickly transfer resources between the two areas. It should be noted that you can't teleport food because it is eaten, with the exception of raw meat and raw fish. However, I think that the possibility of transporting more than one item is a good idea. And I will try to add it in the next version. I made a movie about how portable teleports work addink Well-Known Member Apr 24, 2013 74 12 8 #14 addink, Apr 1, 2018 Last edited: Apr 1, 2018 Just finished it, I think. At least I closed all underground entrances, I got no popup or nothing, but the book indicates there are 0 entrances left. Odd little game, I like a lot about it, the carrying and preparing stuff is quite laborious, but that also adds a layer of planning that is missing from a lot of similar games. Once all entrances in an area are closed creatures will not spawn anymore either, allowing to completely clear areas, which is nice with all the running around required. The oddest little thing is the fact that every action costs energy, even eating first adds a bunch of points only to immediately take away one for the action of eating. Another thing is the fact that whenever you do any action you also strike your sword, triggering doors, fires and whatnot. Just for saving energy I started to bake foods and ore, while at the same time burning down gates. Note that you can pile up raw foodstuffs and ore and then use a single fire to cook them all. Even in this state, well worth a dollar (a dollar is for the plus version, of course). Edit: forgot to mention the weirdest effect of 'every action costs an energy point': saving costs energy as well.. MiniatureWorlds Member Jun 7, 2017 17 0 0 #15 MiniatureWorlds, Apr 1, 2018 I sincerely congratulate that you completed Fantasy Maze! Because you're the first person, I know, who did it, I sent to you a small reward (see private message). Final pop up has not appeared because there is a small bug in the game, that I will correct in the next version. However, there were 250 underground entries and you closed all of them. The book with information about the number of underground entries shows the truth, in this case - zero. And besides, you will not find more monsters in the maze, except rats that can sometimes come out of closed entries. Can you tell me, how long did it take you? addink Well-Known Member Apr 24, 2013 74 12 8 #16 addink, Apr 1, 2018 I don't know exactly. I played it on an off over a period of two days..
