Nice. Terrible ball handling but nice. Aside from watching the thought bubble pop up over Sanchez's head in the first quarter stating "Wow. These NFL guys are really really fast"... here's what I've learned on MNF 08/24: Despite some reluctance by the fantasy community to name a starter in Baltimore... I think it's clear that Ray Rice gets the job at the beginning of the season and it's his to lose. McGahee will still push him and take reps... but the Ravens LOVE Rice. Thomas Jones likely won't be traded to Seattle as the rumor was floating... since it looks like the Hawks are signing Edge... preventing the possibility of a Seahawks RB tandem of Jones and Jones. Shame. He looked decent tonight against the stout Ravens D. But so did Leon Washington. No clear winner there. Finally... the AFC is going to be MUCH tougher this year. Crowning the Pats as the media has may be way pre-mature. Flacco looks solid for the Ravens. If the Jets can get their QB settled down they'll steal some games. Chargers are mean and hungry. Colts/Titans/Houston/Jags make up the single toughest division in the league. Should be fun.
