Ho-lee CRAP this game is polished. The amount of little touches and nuances to each and every aspect of gameplay is crazy! As for the difficulty (and I hate being this guy), it reminds me of games I used to play where you actually had to try harder to do better. I realize how that sounds, but you don't just play more and somehow end up doing better. You actually have to try harder! Did I mention how ridiculously polished this game is? DBC
Just to say, level 7 and level 9 is pretty hard for normal player, sometimes u need some luck too and hope some food will drop while u kill and run. So if u passed lvl 7 and 9, consider yourself as elite. Anyway,i Just got 1.8mil highscore at stage 10 survival mode. I am a hardcore player and The tip for my fellow gamers is to know which weapon to use and max them out and know when to jump. With the "right" weapon, highscore is just a matter or time.

Tried more than 10 times for level 7 and level 9 and 2 times for lvl 10. When u finally passed those level and complete the game, u will truly feel a sense of accomplishment. I am now a true vamp slayer in the virtual world muhahaha!
Would it be possible to increase the cap for the stats? maybe in a special mode so that those of us who aren't as capable as some of the more hard core gamers; perhaps grind for a bit better stats and add survivability. Just maybe ? And just for the heck of it I bought the HD version as well... Thanks
Yes, I'm working on those for the next content update. It seems we're starting to pick up steam again. But I'm not celebrating yet Fangz 2 will be designed from the ground up to be multiplayer. I just need some funding first We're changing the red rapper so the he's white. We meant no racist comments of any kind by putting the rappers in brown, and I can certainly understand why some people would find that racist. The red rapper will be white and called EmiVamp. Your nickname says it all. We're both old gamers On the next content release, one of the stats you'll be able to purchase with brains will allow you to loose no energy when jumping around. It'll cost loads of brains, because it totally skews gameplay, but it'll be there. On the melee part I disagree. It would make the game boring. The part that makes it challenging it getting to know the attacks and their timing, and then coming up with a real time strategy on how to kill all enemies without getting bitten. I did it like this, so that combats could almost feel like a karate kata Co-op will most like not make it into Fangz 1. I have to completely rewrite the animation system, so that it takes less CPU and memory, to be able to comfortably have multiple players on screen, and I also would have to redo major parts of code. Unfortunately I designed it at the time as a one person adventure. As for weapons, I'm adding some more. Still not sure what Thank you very much. It takes some know how to see the amount of work behind this Thanks! This is one of those games where you play better after a good night's sleep. And if you've been playing for a couple of hours before sleep, when you close your eyes you'll actually see vampires I'm adding difficulty levels and adding new stats that will make game play easier. I'm also thinking about following your suggestion, and increase the cap for all other stats (via a different coloured light, placed on top of an existing one).
I have a suggestion. Having an in game enemy/character encyclopedia to describe a brief background on each of them would be neat.
Another suggestion, provide some sort purchasable perk or 1 time use item for bonus stats to improve scores for survival. Some sort of a cash sink. This allows continuous spending of cash after unlocking all weapon upgrades.
I'm reading talk of Fangz 2 for Halloween 2014 That's sounds awesome! I love Halloween. I can see headless horsemen and all kinds of Halloween stuff fitting into the world of Fangz. Maybe for Fangz 2 the jump (defense) button could be a shield/jump/double jump depending on tap/double tap/triple tap. . . . Just kinda thinking out loud, I know some people probably wouldn't like the triple tap. A shield could be kinda cool for Fangz 2 tho. Anyways, let us know if you're doing a kick starter (or pre-orders). Game Whiz is the type of developer I like to support .
Love the game! Got a question about Goldman Sucks I get all the way to end of this level with the Goldman Sucks character and all the lawyers or accountants expending all ammo and I'm left with a Light Saber and I don't seem to do any damage to the guy. I'm getting frustrated with the game and I don't want to. I gave it a five star review. I'm just lost and so tired of redoing the levels to get to the boss. I wish there was a save after every level. I'd would love any tips or advice from you guys and gals who are rocking this game.
As for the red rapper changing white: HILARIOUS. One rapper should be black, one yellow, one white, one brown and one a mix of all those, just to make it so EVERYBODY is happy. I wonder the kind of response you'd get if you made all the rappers white The ability to NOT lose energy while jumping?! Well I'll be damned. I guess all my complaining paid off. That gameplay you see as being skewed will be right up my alley For the addition of more weapons, I'd like to suggest a type of lightning/electricity gun (NOT like the Tesla Gun) where you'd shoot electricity and it would bounce to other vampires nearby.
Alex, is there any way you can increase the 'start up' sound for the Plasma Gun? Like, a lot? It sounds muted right now and an increase in volume will add to the intensity, especially since this is probably the most powerful weapon in the game (besides the Tweet, which is just amazingly ridiculous EDIT: Since we are dealing with vampires here, it would be logical to have more weapons focused around themes that traditionally affect vampires: holy water, garlic, wood stakes and of course, sunlight.
