I think I might know what the problem is. Large green squiggles aren't part part of the collection for each level. If you hit pause, you can see how many you actually have collected. I you don't have the 3rd star either, you might be missing the extra level in Squiggleville. Check the background, and look for a door that you haven't been in yet. Hope that helps!
The pencil comes into play right before the pirate ship. It's a little late in the game, but it'll help change up the experience some if you go back to collect everything in earlier levels.
I think that the save glitch is only early on around the Training part. I was pleasantly surprised to find my save game intact when I booted Fancy Pants up, today.
Yes but I hit pause and the whole time it says I have 168, even right when I start. I have screenshots I can share. Just before I finished the level I checked in the top left corner at my collected count and it's still different than the pause screen count. Finish the level and it counts up to 168 and stops.
I found the star and think I see how he @ count works now. I have many more. It appears go be a total of unique @ I've found? Not a running total. Interesting. I'm still missing a couple (in that hidden room). I can see them way up there. You guys really have some good puzzles. Nicely done.
Wish I read about the save game glitch before I played for hours. Started up the game today and noticed my save was gone.
Have you tried going back to home after completing a level? If I go to the bedroom after all that, it seems to keep my save.
Oh cool, if I only need the white ones I won't worry about the black ones so much. I wish it was more aparent what I needed to be collecting, oh well. Overall, one of the most "simply fun" and challenging platformers I've played in years, totally love that its on my iPhone!
It's got a story mode, it's got two extra worlds (the first one has 3 levels and I haven't tried the 2nd). There's a good amount of levels in the story mode, and there's TONS of replayability. There's even an arcade mode for time trials and such. So I don't think it's a copy of the PS3 version... I don't have the PS3 version, in fact. So I don't know...
For a buck it's a solid play. Very fun, just feels amazing. Lots to collect and unlock (hats, pants and weapons). I'm having a blast with it, just 100% the first level (which is a good challenge in of itself).
Sorry that didn't answer the question, your saying the ps3 version had more content? I hate buying short games I just want to make sure the the story mode will take time to beat. Can anyone confirm this is the same. The ps3 version content wise? And how many lvls in total.
Game Impressions Great fun, until you lose ALL your progress. This has just happened to me and it is very annoying. In a game this big, I don't really want to be playing it until this is fixed. I'm sure I'm not alone.
Devs said that in a couple of day a fix will arrive which fixes the save error and the incorrect file size
HAVE YOU TRIED GOING BACK TO YOUR BEDROOM AFTER YOU ARE DONE A LEVEL? Because that is what has kept my save game safe.
Ok, thanks, I'll wait until the update comes out. Good to know they're onto it, appreciate you letting us know.
