I like it. Mini journal for exploring people is cool idea. Honestly i love Fallout and this is exactly what i would expect from mobile game. You can build stuff instantly without having to wait so thats cool. I do wonder about people you send to explore. Do they comeback or i have to recall them everytime. Eric Curtis left with only gun we had so he better comeback. Also my guy impregnated 5 women already. What a stud
This. No actual gameplay of whatsoever,Bethesda could have made their own ACTUAL fallout game on ios or port fallout 1/2 but instead we get this crap...
Saw it being featured first thing I open up the App store, but the in game cash just turned me off >_>
Eh. Cash grab and branding. Nothing else to see here. Those who enjoy I bid you a good day, I don't really like this. Just my opinion.
You have to manually click recall for dwellers to come back. Takes half the time they were sent away to return.
If you don't like simulation/base-building/time management games, this will not be your cup of tea. It does not mean that this game is a "cash grab" because you want a Fallout first person shooter on mobile.
It IS a cash grab since we already have enough management games on ios,so many management games that I'm getting sick of them.Fallout 1 or Fallout 2 on the other hand would not be a cash grab,it would be something that all ios gamers want. We don't want fallout fps on ios,we want an ACTUAL fallout game on iOS like Fallout 1 or Fallout 2 and not this pile of junk made with pure cash grabbing intentions. Imagine getting Bioshock strategy instead of Bioshock or KOTOR puzzle instead of actual KOTOR,you would not be happy if that happened,I'm sure about that.
Now , if they will just port Fallout Tactics to the iphone/ipad I would be in my glory! I'm not into these building sim games though. Perhaps it's a start of things to come.
Right now a couple of hours in, I'm stuck in a bad cycle where I need to rush everything to get by. This game is soo unforgiving. Suddenly raiders came in and screwd up everything even after I upgraded the door. Anyway, what happends when I go to sleep for 8h while in this bad cycle? Will everyone die or is sleeping 8h something that developers didn't care about?
Wow what an amazing game!!!!! Thank you Bethesda!!! Of course me as many others hope for a fallout port but till then this one will keep me entertained!!!!
LOL, your rationale for this being a cash grab is just absurd. "It is a cash grab because we already have enough management games on ios". Also, "Fallout 1 or Fallout 2 on the other hand would not be a cash grab,it would be something that all ios gamers want". Uhh, no? I am pretty sure a premium Fallout title would not be purchased by "all" iOS gamers, if that were so it would be far and away the most successful premium title ever and I just don't see it. Within the iOS gaming world freemium casino games are the norm and Fallout is a niche. "We don't want fallout fps on ios,we want an ACTUAL fallout game on iOS like Fallout 1 or Fallout 2 and not this pile of junk made with pure cash grabbing intentions." Who annointed you the spokesman for "we"? Anyway, I like base builders and time management games, but I also like premium games. They both have a time and a place. I can't pickup XCOM, for example, and just play for a minute or two as I have time. I need a chunk of time, at least 30 minutes, to get something out of that experience. For a lot of people that limits the amount of play that a premium title like that sees. Games like Clash of Clans, on the other hand, I can login 10 times a day to collect my resources, chat with clanmates, or do a quick raid. I don't need 30 minutes, 2-5 will do. If I want to do a 2 hour session though I can. This game looks good because it doesn't appear to be just another Clash rip-off like Star Wars Commander or Rival Kingdoms, and early impressions on the monetization are positive unlike say Sim City build-it. You don't like the game fine, but don't expect Bethesda to change their business strategy because Kenan2000, ambassador for all iOS gamers, demands it.
There aren't enough proper management games on iOS for me, my opinion on this is still undecided as I haven't had long to try the game yet. But so far it does seem unforgiving with tight resource management and disasters randomly that mess things up.
Loving it so far. You have to be very strategic from the get go. It takes a small bite out of everything i love about these management games
What Bioshock mobile spinoff would you not buy though? I'm willing to bet there will be almost no scenario in which you would turn down any spinoff. Some brands and franchises have simply so much nostalgia and goodwill attached to them that it's easy to accept any form of them as a mobile version.
