By luck. If you get a raiders attack while you're still setting your explorer up and you've already gave him stimpacks, the game prompts you to the raiders. The explorer, still, has the stimpacks you attribuited to him, but after the raid you get to supply him a second time. You can get to 25+25 stimpacks, which translates to a 4-5-6 days of vacation for a high level explorer with a good weapon. So many corpses behind him.
Finished. End game is a yawn fest. Getting there though was quite fun. Food for thought: Perhaps adding a feature, that when you turn your phone vertical, the game zooms out and changes to the flatter version already in game ( full zoom out)
Bug? Anyone having issues with a few of the dwellers floating? From bottom left to top right of shelter? Very strange, can select them but they continue to float. If I assign them to a room, they float back down, go to that room, displace another dweller, then that dweller floats!
If I equip someone going out to explore the wasteland with a stronger weapon, does that increase their chances of survival for longer periods of time?
They'll be more effective in combat which could help them for longer, yes. But I find the best stat is level/health and endurance. They can have the best gun in the game, but with 20 HP, it won't matter.
Updated. I hadn't played in a month. A few remarks: - the robot Mr Handy is an IAP (0.99 for 1, 3.99 for 5). One per floor. - the bonus caps you may get from rushing a room has been drastically reduced (10 or 20 caps vs hundreds before) - 200 dwellers max unchanged. - the friggin' 999,999 caps ceiling is still here. You cannot get past 999,999 caps. - I still had a crash on iPad Air after 10 minutes. As I already have 200 dwellers and 999,999 caps, I sadly have zero interest in playing again (No exploit, no cheats btw) I have no use for my caps short of destroying and reconstructing floors :/
Kinda curious... Are the mister handy's repairable? Got a damaged one who isn't self repaired and there is no repair button, it's at 70% health atm.
this game has totally no replay value. i can send 50 dwellers into the wasteland and get myself a infinite amount of caps. they die after they spend their medkits but who cared, it only costs me 1000 caps to revive them and they bring back more then 4000 every time.
Lol, as I said I hadn't played in a month. I still had 20 dwellers exploring out there and thought they were all dead meat. To my surprise, after updating, they were all still alive, with each over 20k caps and dozens of rare blue loot. As if the last 30+ days inactive were forgotten. Funny bug, too bad I'm already maxed on caps
Update on my 35+ days running dwellers bug: They don't seem to have enemy encounters any more. Just some radiation poisoning here end there. So they are still running, and gathering rare loot and caps like crazy. I sent 3 out of 20 home, they'll be back in 18 days... One of them was sent out with the 50 stim pack bug, he may last a few months. I hope he'll be back for Christmas.
Bought a Mr Handy in one game, then base didn't do too well from death claw attack so I reset started a new vault, but new vault didn't have the IAP of Mr Handy, I assume this is true for the lunch boxes too?
