Well said. I feel the same. Timing correctly what you do with the missions is a game in itself and the rewards are the (not so) rare boxes. Once you get the hang of it, the game is relatively easy, but with a lot of micro management. (I encourage everybody to have a first vault as beta test, then start over). Getting a few ultra powerful dudes or weapons is cool, but I don't want too many, as the challenge would disappear totally. I also feel the game is too fast, I'm already at 128 dwellers, adding 30 a day. I would rather have the time to better know my dwellers. I know I could stop breeding, but often missions require it. Maybe have pregnancies/infancy last longer would slow the game a bit.
Im just watching the house season with the actress that played amata. Shes smoking hot. If she was in my vault then the dudes would be constantly at 100% happiness
Yesterday a single Radroach Infestation killed about 20 out of 38 people, mostly lvl 20 and above. There was one radroach that just didn't seem to die and even with multiple squads of 6 armed people with laser pistols and sawed-off shotguns was not able to tackle the bug. Due to the interface not always recognizing the difference between dragging a person and panning the camera, I lost too many people unnecessary. Also because the radroach attacks causes an insane amount of "AoE" damage to the room regardless of the amount of bugs it seems, so I burned through my stash of Medkits quickly. This gave me a very difficult situation as most people required 400-500 caps to revive each and I didn't have thousands of caps saved. Now I'm running my full 5-level vault with a handful of people with only one power station, one water pump and one diner, waiting for bottle caps to trickle in through level upgrades. The only other thing I can do is buy 20 or so lunchboxes so I can revive 5 or 6 people but I'm not going to spend almost $20 to recover from an inbalance. This game needs more than one fix.
I hope they release a patch soon to sort out how much battery this game uses. Earlier I opened the game, collected the resources, recalled one explorer and closed it again, grand total of probably 30 seconds play time (if that), sucked 4% battery, this is on a 6 month old iPhone 6 too so it's not like an ancient battery or hardware getting hammered by too demanding software!
I tried the lunchbox bug and it works. you can get a new lunchbox every 5 minutes or so. But the game becomes destroyed if you use this bug. Its the same as throwing money at a game. you kill the game because you overcome the challenges because those lunchboxes. SO i deleted that vault and continued with the other vault that i got without bugs. Its fun. I got a Dr. lee from the couple of boxes i got from start and i feel its the most important character in the game. It constantly keeps dropping styringes because the high intelligence. Raiders cant do anything because i basicly have a infinite amount of styringes.
Yeah it works really well and you kinda have an abundance of resources after awhile, which makes the game kinda blend.
How long are pregnancies supposed to last? My dweller has been knocked up for hours with no sign of a delivery on the way. The first pregnancy seemed to last minutes. Is this normal or have I stumbled onto a bug?
When I have pregnant dwellers what I do is if I want to stop playing I always use the settings and main menu not home button right away and when I get back a new kid is born pop up don't know but it works for me.sorry for my bad English. Tip:in dancing couple quest you can use the same couple to complete this quest, just remove one of them when they are dancing then put it back again in the same quarter.
Not sure if it's been asked/mentioned before, but what do you get out of assigning people to the storage rooms?
Them seem to get happy if assigned to any room - if they just run around their happiness stays at 50%. I have 200 ppl, all are in rooms, all have weapons - what to do now?!
Safety concerns. I leave one guy strongly armed and armored in each room, to stop fires and cockroaches invasions to spread.
