Very nice game, but I tried it and grew bored with it. I guess this style of game isn't for me, but I'm glad others are enjoying it.
This is my vault guard. Needless to say, raiders don't make it very far. Thank you based second lunchbox
Wait till you get harkness and butch dont know if they are the same stats as the other but they are good all around, butch can impregnate in a sec.
Just started a new vault. I kind of dig being able to have up to 3 vaults. I have one vault doing "just ok" with 50 people and decided to put that one on hold and start up a new one with the stuff I've learned from that vault. Either way, I'm glad you can have 3 going at the same time.
Ive got 3 explorers. The luchadore takes 2 ladies out into the wasteland, both of them wearing formal wear. When they come home he bones them both, then all three hit the gym all night. He wont be impressed when he comes home today, a new guy just turned up and he is going to have to share.
So I must be doing something wrong. Can't ever get past 16 ppl before the apocalypse strikes. Got 4 ppl in cafe, power plant, and water works. All fully upgraded rooms and they can't even sustain themselves (resources don't produce fast enough to stay out of the red). Any suggestions?
Only really works to build up a stash at the start. You can't really get far without selling a weapon or putting someone in an outfit. Well I gues you can but its a different strategy to mine
It's also questionable just how easy the glitch is to pull off. I'll be finished with day 6 tomorrow, have seen neither of the 2 quests necessary to create the glitch. Extinguished many fires, rushed many rooms, equipped many weapons, fused rooms, upgraded rooms, etc., all in the service of completing quests, but not one single "sell" quest yet. In that sense, glad it's becoming published so they can address it, but also seems like chasing it would just prove you're a full bore munchkin with the game. Unless you were lucky, you would probably wind up putting in more effort to reach the glitch state than just playing normally would take. I'm genuinely shocked at the revenue the game has made because I'm usually one of the first people to toss a 5 or 10 spot toward a well crafted "free" game that is holding my attention, but I can't bring myself to spend anything so far because it doesn't feel like it would do anything but detract from the game. It's a very well balanced game where I rather enjoy the scarcity of LBs because they are a genuine treat instead of feeling like they are needed even a teeny bit. I had to restart the first vault (and still could have slogged it out but my organizational OCD would have always made me twitch a little), but since I got past the starting hump, this has been a very stable, well run little vault I have. Worst thing to happen was a bit of a mess earlier as I finally had a rad roach infestation get out of control and killed most of the diner crew (the irony was I was serially rushing rooms chasing funds to revive a wasteland explorer I forgot to recall in time and then wound up with multiple dead people to revive, oops). Extra LBs either by glitch or purchase would just take away the sense of slow building and satisfaction I've got going on here.
Does everyone actually leave dwellers at the gate? So many people mention doing this but I have yet to see a reason to do it...
I found that 2 dwellers might not kill the raiders before they move to the next room, especially before you have the really powerful weapons. Instead, I leave the entrance empty and have the first room the raiders go to be a 3 merged room with 6 armed and armored dwellers.... Has managed to take care of every raiding party in short order.
In case anyone wondered, duplicate "unique" Dwellers are possible. Got two Amata from two separate lunchboxes. Oddly, they were of slightly different levels. Assuming the app actually works for once, there should be at least one photo attached.
Except you CAN equip or sell stuff, as long as you don't "cash in" the reward. That said, this glitch killed it for me. It was fun for like 30 mins, then it's super easy mode. I've since started a new vault, doing the glitch but without opening the lunchboxes other than the first few you get until you "set the glitch up", creating a sort of hard mode due to pretty much eliminating objective rewards.
I was getting raider parties every 5 minutes, I moved two men to the vault door and have them enclave armor , a mirv and an enhanced Gatling laser--I haven't had a single attack since. My biggest problem with the bugs, is when they are fighting the raiders- they stop- and the raiders go to other rooms while my soldiers just sit there.
