FYI: max health packs you can take when exploring is 25. I would really like to see a way of determining who is holding my best weapons. Apparently I have a legendary rocket launcher but damned if I know who is holding the blasted thing Also, hot tip, don't open lunch boxes when your stash is full... Items get auto sold
The touch arcade review states you need endurance to run the NukaCola room, can anyone else verify that? So far seems like a useless stat but if it's necessary later I'll probably start training now.
I'm enjoying the game tremendously. Very surprised at the rapid pace of progress, I'm already at 90 dwellers on my second try. My first try resulted in a 15 out of 25 dead from cockroaches due to a too rapid expansion early on. Key is to carefully expand, and upgrade buildings before building new ones. Also don't get overwhelmed by babies, have half a dozen max. Wait for them to be adults to expand your population again. Not bought IAPs yet, I already get a few boxes a day from missions. And plenty of capsules. Time your pricey upgrades, babies, sending a lot of people out, etc to fulfill the missions. It helps a lot. The game is well balanced, but not as hard as I first thought after my first debacle. I'm afraid rare items would make it too easy. Loving the semi perma death. Also very surprised at the almost inexistent timers. That there are none for constructing rooms is quite unusual in a F2P game and changes everything. I get a lot of loot from sending multiple dwellers outside with 6 stim packs and 3 rad kits. I had 17 out during the day at some point. Made them all come back before going to bed and sent a few new ones with 12/6 sim pack/rad kits for the night. Last night I was a bit optimistic and they were all dead when I was able to play again
I had a Victory Rifle that has mysteriously disappeared... Checked every dweller I have and it appears to be gone. Anyone had this happen or know how it could have disappeared?
I hope that Bethesda adds a more advanced combat system in the future like sending dwellers to raid enclave/raider camps or something like that so you could actually see the combat and not just read the journal.
I thought I noticed the same thing today. I happened to look and the two people I have running the radio pretty much since I built it, are both at like level 4 still. Weird. I guess I'll have to start flip flopping people. It's getting tough now. Once you break 30-40 people, things start getting a little hectic.
What happens if you send everyone out to the Wasteland? Like, right after you start the game and don't have many Dwellers. Would you still be draining resources like food & water? Just thinking this might be a good way to grab lots of loot early on.
Dwellers are not just consuming these resources, they are working at the facilities to keep them running. And power generation is fuelling everything else, so if you had nobody manning these stations, everything in the vault would just shut down in a short period of time.
20,000 ratings? Rating manipulation? Bueller? Bueller? How can Bethesda condone that kind of behavior? It's despicable.
If its manipulation then its manipulation on a mass scale. They are one of the top grossing games on the app store now. I think the launch during the fallout 4 reveal at e3 probably reached a very much wider audience than normal app store releases
I have a problem with pregnant women. At first I exagerated and got around 12 women pregnant. All was good until last 4 which remain pregnant for the last day and will not give birth. I also have a quest have 4 women pregnant and it registers 0. I have enough room for new dwellers, enough food, watter, but they just remain pregnant. Also no children because they all grew up yesterday.
I searched a little and it seems to be a bug. Most likely it is if the room the babies have been concieved in has been deleted. And there is nothing I can do. I will send them to wasteland and let them there as soon as I will have enough dwellers.
I figured that out after trying it. And I am not the only one with that problem, I think the problem lies in deleting/upgradin/merging the room baby has been concieved in. I hope they fix this soon beacuse I am not interested in trying the whole game anew and also don't like playing with everpregnant women.
And your vault would become Gary's Vault.creepy. To bethesda please make raider drop anything from weapons to armor or even caps and please add robots.
Raiders appear randomly or you have some kind of a chance to trigger them by failing "rush"? Also I've found a Gauss Rifle
Hit a couple good mile stones. Replaced my main power plans with a full nuclear plant upgraded once. It has a massive amount of storage. Also all 61 of my dwellers has a weapon with 3 damage or greater. Can finally sell all those stupid BB guns and never have to worry about what room roaches are in. The couple people saying luck is the best stat for wanderers are completely right. Got a massive amount of cloths and weapons from my high luck guys out there for 14+ hours. Debating on sending them out in formal wear to max out L or keep them in power suits. Can't tell if power suit helps them survive any longer or if it's based solely on level. Anyone have any input?
The one thing that I am getting frustrated with is that when I am scrolling through the vault I accidentally move people to new jobs. I don't want a confirm button or anything but I dunno what to do cuz reassigning them is impossible cuz I dunno who went where. Sometimes I can catch them but sometimes I can't.
