Does the guy exploring the wasteland automatically use stimpacks and rad away as he needs them as long as he has them equipped?

Thanks! I started over and now have 4 guns for 16 people, much better ratio! I think the mistake I made was equipping random people with weapons instead of assigning them when a fight breaks out.

Do you recommend building a Med bay early on?

This will suck extremely much. Lol. Move 30 people, forget who belongs where and then by accident make 15 women pregnant. Wish there was a save button...

    Hey guys,

At some point in the tutorial it mentioned something about merging same rooms to make a bigger one (I think), but I have two fully upgraded bedrooms and nothing happens.

Also is it possible to put more than two people in them at some point? I have a fully stocked vault, everyone has jobs, but the father of a family is always depressed. I have the mother and son in a room and they're fine. I swap one out and the one out gets depressed.

Read the help section ingame (not trying to be bitchy, it's actually good). Rooms from the same type (and level!) will merge automatically to max 3 rooms and they both hold more people and produce more resources.

I put armour on the people with guns, so it's easy to quickly identify them in emergencies, so I can just drag them to fight when needed. It would be rather a hassle to have to equip people every time there's a fight I think.

I played this thing for like 2 hours last night and love it. Went to bed with about 19 people including 4 women that I impregnated. Woke up with 23 and 2 at the door, so 25 now. Once I got the strategy down it has been fairly easy to keep all of the meters full. The only thing that ever brings them down now are raiders. I still only have 2 weapons and for the longest time I didn't even have 1. The cards have not been kind to me, so to speak, but otherwise things are going great. I built the radio station when I woke up so I should have some noobs arriving later when I get home.

I got pretty much wiped out by a random (un rushed) rad roach infestation in my day old vault.

They appeared deep in the bowels of my vault so my defenders couldnt get to them quickly. They then spread to the three adjacent rooms murdering the unarmed inhabitants before settling down in power room 2. The armed offenders squad finally got there but melted under the intense radiation. One roach survived, which allowed more roachs to spawn, so my B squad couldnt wipe them out either.

I feel these roachs did much more damage than previous ones. Had I enough med packs I might have been able to save key fighters.

It felt very much like when my wasteland explorer had been wandering for over 4 hours. There was a sudden jump in damage from just 0-1 damage all the way up to 5.

My strategy has been to keep 2 people in every regular sized room in the vault except the living quarters, which I spread out so there are only a few spots where people don't stay at any given time. When I build a new room I will move one of the workers in a pair to the new room again making sure they are all occupied. This has made the roach infestations fairly simple. The raiders are a bit tougher especially without weapons. I had 3 people die once, but luckily had enough spare caps to revive. But with the way I have it spread out the roaches and random fires are no big deal.

Wrong. TA forums are of the few forums I've found where there are many people willing to help when needed. That is, if you're really willing to get help and not get into an endless love/hate discussion...

I agree, the only thing this forum needs is a bit more modding to prevent some of the tangent discussions that go on in various threads. I get enough useful information though that I don't let it bother me, try to ignore and occasionally lash out at the trolls when the mood hits me.

Right now, my guys handle infestations no problems (all 34 people got guns and outfit etc) and the big ol tanks at the door handles raiders easily. My question is, does this mean that im safe forever now as long as I don't go crazy with building rooms and making baby's or will raiders/infestations/fire get worse/harder?

Devs: a system for assigning people to rooms would rock. Now it's easy to move someone by mistake or have people help out with disasters/making babies only to forget where they work. People needs to be more "locked" to their "work".

I'm not even gonna bother reviewing this game since I don't like such types of games and think that it has almost nothing to do with the actual Fallout.

Why cannot Bethesda release maybe some kind of a spinoff fallout game on iOS if not fallout 1/2 port?So it will play like Hardboiled as an instance where you have turn based combat, search for loot, some exploration.I'm sure that it will make many fallout fans happy, including me.

When I installed this i was hoping that you could actually explore the wasteland (have at least 5 2d environments with enemies and loot) and have turn based combat...

I like these types of games but sadly I've stopped bothering with this, it's just not for me. I won't rate it badly though but for me it's too slow and the margins are too small.

Thankfully though TA pointed me to Korrigans and I'm love that one so far : )

Why are you still posting here? You've had nothing useful to post on this entire thread. We understand you don't like this game, now please shut up about it.

Upgrading door is near useless. The first upgrade, maybe ok to stall raiders.
The second upgrade, dont waste your caps, stalls them for way too annoyingly long, and still restricted to 2 guards. Need to be able to put 3 or 4 there. :(

Raiders eventually switch from swords to guns. I think they might scale.

Any tips for finding weapons? I've got tons of outfits so my guys look the part, but just end up punching the raiders when the action starts.

My wasteland explorers only find outfits too...
