  4. Get into the Hype Train now! We have Doom, XCOM 2, MGS 5, Mad Max, Batman Arkham Knight and now the long waited Fallout 4!

Don't forget Battlefront! That one too.

I just loved the trailer's atmosphere. It sure brings a feel of hope for the wasteland to have a more "bright and colourful" future!

New Vegas had the same atmosphere. I personaly prefer the washed out, green/gray color scheme that gave Fallout 3 a more depressing, bleak feel appropriate to the post apocalyptic theme.

Surprised they went with that since it was the most common complaint whenever comparing Fallout 3 and New Vegas.

First thing I did with NV was mod it to look a bit more desolate, vanilla was very cartoony. But having said that I didn't have a lot of issues with the trailer, the graphics and animation were a little behind what I had expected but I've always played it for what it is and both 3 and NV were fairly dated on release, doesn't really worry me.

Yeah, there's a lot of controversy on the internet regarding the graphics in the trailer. Personally, I could do fine with Fallout 3 graphics, but Fallout 4 has stepped it up with lighting effects and the environments look really good. But at the end graphics are the last thing I'm worried about once I'm immersed into the game.

I'm just really glad we got a trailer with in-game graphics.

Bethesda really embraced the "cartoony" style this time around though, not only with texture colors, but the style also shows in other places. I must admit, it rubs me the wrong way, but I won't judge before playing the game.

Maybe it's time to finally grab a PS4 then?

I will probably grab it on PS4 and do what I normally do with Beth games and pick up the GOTY edition with all the DLC Latter on sale for PC and go heavy on the mods.

I hope we can craft real atom bombs as a decoration.
