Does everybody keep asking you for your iPhone/iPod, just "for a few minutes"? Have you run out of excuses not to give it to them, so you can use it yourself, at least for a while? Or you can just tell them "the battery is low" and save yourself the hassle and money. If they don't believe you, there not your friend anyway.
It surprises me that stuff like this, and the "fake iphone caller" apps, get approved by Apple. These sorts of apps are in violation of the user interface guidelines, and many apps have been rejected for lesser things.
