Question for those who are doing/have completed the Farmer's Questline (the one from the update before this): what happens after you get all four animals? I have 'em, they're all grown up & I've collected from them all, but I don't think I actually completed the questline - there wasn't any specific message and I'm still getting the screen darkening from the "lack of magic". Is it random, or is there a trigger? Also, yay for more content but this update has lots of crystal-requiring parts, sigh.. and I accidentally bought three of a tree I only needed two of with crystals and didn't realize. >< C'mon, let's get a Tapjoy doubled offers, those are always the best.
There were 2 quests related to Farmer's Chest which requires you to have all 6 animals. 3 animals required in each Farmer's Chest quest. Screen darkening, as in night time, is not related to quest. It is a feature to show night/day time only. This remains until latest update. For trees, sometimes if more than 1 required, it still can work by using 1. Try putting the tree in storage, then put it back on farm. One tree can be counted as more than 1 sometimes

Ahh okay, thanks. I've got all six - seven, actually, it took me a while to get the necessary six - and they're all at adulthood. Is there anything after the Farmer's Chest quests, or is that the entire Farmer questline? I didn't know the screen darkening was linked to that, makes sense. When I very first saw it, I went and checked my device's brightness.. For whatever reason, taking quest items that I already own from storage & placing them doesn't count for the quest. Frustrating, especially with the bigger/more expensive ones. I realllly need a doubled Tapjoy offer day, I spent all of my crystals getting the farmer's chest animals and then the oriental house. Not looking forward to another chest lottery.. sigh.
