There is a quest titled Winged Seniors where you need to upgrade your unicorns into winged ones using the Celestial Academy Device. Unicorns are sometimes available in special offer box for 199 crystals. They even sold for 99 crystals but type is random (unicorn, unicorness, azure, strawberry).
Ah okay, thanks for explaining. I thought I'd seen unicorns at some point in the special offers boxes; I'll keep an eye out.
Aaand I seem to be stuck in the quest line because advancing requires buying the random boxes for specific animals. Managed to get 3/4, and waste half my crystals. Will wait until they double the Tapjoy offers and try again. Kinda wish I could start the game over, being this high a level with so much completed isn't much fun for me. :/
upgrading them requires a ruby feather (they say it is from a couple peacock) and a unicorn sign which i don't know how to get it for free or maybe cheaper than 99 crystals.
Ruby feather is from a couple of peacocks, but it is a rancom drop, once every 6-7 harvests. For a unicorn sign, no way to get it for free.. 99 it is.
oic.. husky, foxie, golden horned goat, etc.. i got all of them complete after 18th trial anyway, 2 quests related to that random box. no other quest follows.
Ouch, 18th! I got the Husky & Fox within 4-5 boxes, but after two more failures I gave up. Oh well, at least my failures are cute. When FF has the doubled TapJoy offers, I should be able to get that goat.. for now, not so much.
