You go back into the underworld and make sure you have the fire icon. When you enter under world Spoiler go north and keep going north till you reach a dark area go up to it put the oil then use fire icon bada bing bada boong you just got a fire spirt thingy
That's it, you need the dragon scale (btw the floor tile you need to stand on is shaped just like the scale). I don't remember very well where you obtain it, but I guess it's right after you place all the seven tablets on their places...
That's exactly where literally right after the tablets. You press a button and on the right side you get the scale

I am stuck at character level 12 and do not know what to do after I return from the lava world and get the 3 logs.

Maze? I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get through the maze with the statues. Are you supposed to go in the direction the statues are facing, and go that direction how ever many dots are under them? And do you start at the top left statue and go down, and then go to the top right statue and go down?
Perhaps u already know by now - but if not, yr missing the "S" boost found in fire land and skull Lord found in earlier underground cemetery access. I have not found the last 2 items yet but have not yet defeated the boss. Maybe they come after that?
Speed running Any tips on beating the game fast? Should I concentrate on leveling then sprinting towards objectives? Leveling seems to be what take the most time :S
No you do both. First leveling of course cause you're level one. Then as you are leveling work you're way to the objects. By level 7 you should have pick axe oil found all three gems and already in the lava world. Actually no first is objects then leveling you can't do anything with out a sword nor mana.
