According to this: http://www.amazon.com/Fahrenheit-Ind.../dp/B00SLXWUCE... ..."All of the in-game textures have been meticulously recreated in HD for mobile and desktop." Also, the 29th is a Thursday...so who knows.
What the hell? Tried googling Pocket Gamer link to this story and the site is down. Are we being rick-rolled or is all the interest overwhelming the servers? I loved Fahrenheit when I played 4 and a half years ago when I arrived back from China after 6 months. The opening scene with Angelo Badalamentti's (spelling) musical score was the perfect way to set the tone for the game. An excellent story-telling experience. Although, I disliked a lot of the QTE in the game.
This is one of the best adventure games i have played in my life. Would be happy to give it another go on mobile.
Exactly how I feel. I play it every Winter. Just installed it on my Mac so I could play it again this year on a new platform. I've been wanting a mobile (iOS) version for years. Hope it finds it's way to the App Store and isn't a Windows or Android exclusive. The image on Amazon also has a Mac symbol on it. So, I'm hopeful.
