Too many adventure games to play through!! I need to lock myself in a cupboard for a month or 2!! Completed The Inner World over weekend. Also did final chapter of Runaway Dream of the turtle part 2. Still got Broken Sword 5 installed and haven't even opened it yet. Bought Grim Fandango remastered yesterday for Mac. Want to buy iOS Detective Case whassisname (looks great!). Still need to get The Journey Down part 2. Would love to play Botanicula as I loved Machinarium (but the art doesn't appeal as much on Botanicula). AAAND I still have a load of my old Lucasarts classics installed on my Android tablet via ScummVM to play again (DoTT and Sam'n'Max are due another playthrough!), not to mention the Monkey Island 1 & 2 remakes on iPad! Now it looks like I must stick this on the list, right?! #FirstWorldProblems
Seems to be a pretty cool port! Updated graphics with the ability to switch between the two ! Btw I've never played so how similar is this to max Payne?
Dont tell me is similar to telltale games.. I don,t like telltale games, but love max payne I'm watching some gameplay videos of the game, and it doesn't seem anything to telltale games (thanks god) it looks more to an point and click adventure style combine with max payne , you know pick clues, stuff like that, I think I will give it a shot
I'd def buy this if not for the fact that it needs 6 gig. Don't think I can clear that much space. My iPad Air is only a meager 16g lol. Too bad. Never played this but I adored Heavy Rain.
Im very familiar with this game and it's much more like TellTale than Max Payne. QuickTime events and all.
you wont be hearing it soon i got crappy speed here maybe it'll finished downloading tonight.. and that's a maybe LOL
Oh man, a friend and I played through the original on PS2 way back when. Such a great memory was made there. I remember to this day how much of a profound impact Indigo Profecy had on me. We still bring it up now and then. I might have to pick this up just for nostalgia sake. But wow, was this ever a sweet game. Groundbreaking at the time. Would definitely be interesting to see how it holds up today. A little worried it might ruin the memory of it. Also wondering about the touch controls, only because there is controller support. Makes me think it might be better to wait until I get one... Looks to be a spectacular release week; I've already downloaded 3 great games that released before the "normal" Thursday time.
Tell me about it. I've played a few hours on one game, a few on another, but they're coming out faster than I can finish them. At least I've already played this so I can take my time this time! I'd also love to play a little of another new one called Contradiction. Looks like a good laugh.
Overall it's received good reviews with criticisms being mainly about the ending and the button presses in the form of 'Simon' for action sequences. Some reviews state a gamepad is essential to play the game properly. Many say it's an excellent game but overall response is positive for the game but you need patience. It's not an action shooter but a slow drawn out adventure for those with a lot of patience. Don't know if I've got enough patience for this. Not sure about buying. So far this is an 'on the fence' week for me.
