As I wait for this to hit Steam I didn't even know it was coming to iOS. I don't even want to imagine how that scene in Lucas' apartment is going to work with a touchscreen. Nearly broke my keyboard trying it on PC back in the day.
I remember playing this on my brother's XBOX many years ago. I'm not usually into console ports but this one I would enjoy experiencing again.
I never had a chance to play this game on PC but I always wanted. Is this the uncensored version (originally available on steam for Europe only I guess) or not? Is the worldwide release date known already? I'm gonna grab this one as soon as it's out.
This is an instabuy to me. If this games plays as well on iOS as it did on my PC years ago it will definitely be the best adventure game available on this platform imo. There is just zero competition as long as Shenmue isn't available on iOS. Well okay, maybe TWD1...but that's it.
What was censored? Also if it's too crazy and has to be censored on steam, I cannot imagine Apple letting that go through. Especially with all the ruckus with the nudity thing in the Icewind Dale trailer that was a non issue.
Well, that's why I'm asking. In November 8, 2011, Quantic Dream released the game uncensored for PC through GOG.com. It was rated PG16 (with Sex, Violence). Disclaimer from GOG.com: This is an uncut and uncensored version of Fahrenheit. Also, according to wikipedia: The original title of Fahrenheit was changed to Indigo Prophecy in the United States and Canada. The change was made to avoid confusion with the film Fahrenheit 9/11. Scenes depicting sex (one of which is interactive) and other "adult content" were removed from the North American versions so the game could avoid an "Adults Only" (18+) rating, which would have had the game stripped from store shelves. Both the name change and editing were made at the request of the publisher.
what?? it's not like Shenmue at all..... just google it or youtube it wish someone released Shenmue.....on IOS or mac
Precursor doesnt mean prequel. Fahrenheit basically opened the possibilities for Heavy Rain, is what im trying to say.
Just played for around an hour and I like it a lot. The closest comparison on iOS would probably be the Telltale games. Exploring, talking to characters, making decisions, that kind of stuff.
Haha. I gotta give you credit for still doing the one game a week thing. We need to put together a poll on when EP is gonna crack! What 2 games will it be to send him over the edge??
If any game would do it for me, this is the one. But I don't want to encourage falling off the wagon.
I'm very temped with this. The price is not a problem but it has IAP!! That makes me think twice. Also is it the full game or the edited/censored one?
IAP? Is it for the free language packs? Or is there consumable IAP worked into this? Don't know how that would work.
