Just curious about why you consider mutliplayer to be the obvious choice?

Everyone needs single player, but only a limited subset need multiplayer.

I think once you`ve completed the initial 10 levels you wont really find much new in the added levels. I mean how much different can they make the new levels from the old ones. But multiplayer will put this game in a completely new category and if done right, it can have the maximum replayability which no amount of single player can match.

I`m not saying that single player should be left out completely. But if they had to give one a priority, then it`d have to be multiplayer IMO as that opens up new doors for the game.

LOL. XBLA has the game... On XBLA, the game plays on dual sticks and some bumpers buttons. I dunno how it will work on iphone?

Ok! Movement by tilt, Shooting by Virtual Stick, Change weapons type by icon button. Will the gameplay work softly?
When the game is near done or near to be release on App Store, please could you (The Developer) release Lite version first then i could see if it worth.

I'd pay 5+ bucks for this if it had multiplayer. Looks good as it is, but I usually find strictly single player games on iPhone way too short

I think the consensus will always be "just do both", which we will probably try to accomodate. The idea behind more single-player content could be geared toward different modes of play rather than extending the campaign. So, last-man-standing, survival, capture-the-flag.

Because firing is tap/gesture based, we could also add secondary firing modes, like a grenade launcher off the chain gun type thing. Or a 'swarm missile' effect off the rocket rather than a single rocket.

Also, the game is physics based, so we were thinking about levels that would have more 'platform' elements to them - ramps to jump, chutes to go down.

For most of this, we could introduce these new gameplay elements with current assets. Basically, add new objectives and mix up the scenes.

Multi would be primarily a code/network addition, but we're thinking that if we build it right, we could do maps that could be playable in single as well as multi.

In any case, thanks for everyone's feedback. You'll have the game in your hands tomorrow, so you can then weigh in on specifics... which I'm quite sure you will :)

I might pick this up when out in UK, depends if ten missions is too short. Survival Mode and this would be instant buy. Anyone is Australia/New Zealand tried it?
