Follow-up to my purchase glitch. Support fulfilled one of my purchases but not the other so basically I paid double price for the stones. I ended up going to Apple support and getting a refund.

Hello, I need your help to unlock many bonus. Please use my referal J0StpEVfws. My team: Green paladin lvl 33 Frog prince lvl 33 Robin hood lvl 33 The beast lvl 33 I need your advice to progress. Thank you in advance.
Welcome to the both of you. Zethes: Focus your experience on either Robin Hood or the Frog Prince. Robin Hood will evolve more easily, and give you a fairly decent boost. Frog Prince takes more effort to evolve, but ends up really strong. Find a Nature hero to replace Beast, as he's not really useful in that team. A Green Ranger/Marksman would work well for early dungeons. Elved: Frog, Robin Hood, Green Ranger, and Emerald Alchemist gives you a fairly tanky team with good damage. Follow the advice that I gave for Zethes. This'll let you go through some of the Water-themed dungeons (specifically, the Raiding Pirate one) which will give your water teams a big boost.
Yep, I just lost a heroic Dragon dungeon run to an app crash...the game really needs to save it's state during a crash
Hey guys, we've noted the complaints and have been working on resolving them. For those who sees crashes on iOS6, please upgrade to iOS7 or wait a week as we upload an updated build. Thanks for your patience.
Thank you very much Raistailin for the welcome. Whats the fable stone strategy here ? In games like PAD and Tower of saviors i stockpile and then do draws when there is something great to draw for like gods but was wondering if the same strategy will work here or if i am better off drawing when i have 5 stones ? I was of course offered different great cards while clearing books but as i am a f2p i didnt have 20 stones so didnt accept the offer.
I am seeing this problem on iOS 7. It has only appeared with the most recent version of the app. It seems like the game is using so much memory now that it gets cleaned up any time it isn't active and/or other apps require memory. This is only a guess, though.
As I am also f2p, my strategy is largely waiting for something good to show up. Events here are weekly, with a doubled drop rate on the last day. If something in the week's draw makes sense for your team, wait until Saturday to draw it. That being said, even with the increased drop rate, the chances of getting something good are really low, so keep that in mind as well. Also keep in mind that the daily rewards give you about 10 stones a month, so those are guaranteed (and, as you start clearing more of the books, start being the only stones you get). So I probably would stockpile the stones I get from clearing books and use the friend draw to improve my team, as the friend draw rapidly becomes useless once your team is decent.
The book clearing cards aren't really that good, and are not worth the number of stones. I don't know what BTG was thinking with that. My recommendation for stones: Use the first 15-20 you get for rare draws, to supplement your team. These stones arrive pretty quickly as you work your way through the books and daily rewards. Use the next 5 to upgrade your box space (I'm sitting on 50 slots right now, which is enough for all my teams, and usually have anywhere between 5-10 slots open depending on my friend draws) Keep the rest, and try to build a reserve of stones for when Legendary Fable draws come along. Draw only: 1) When it's the final day of the draw-week (Saturdays, usually), as it's supposed to have boosted rates 2) When it's a Legendary Fable draw (Thursdays/Fridays. You'll know, an extra draw picture will be at the Rare Draw) And, of course, if you think you can use the draws. Just keep in mind that the odds of you getting any one draw is pretty low, and 3*'s are common as hell. But don't let that dishearten you, a bunch of us have gotten through most the available content doing F2P. (BTG, I would have probably bought a couple of stones to supplement draws by now, but... the constant flip between 'buggy' and 'not buggy' is kind of... worrisome) Use the Friend Draws a lot, as it'll supplement your early income (selling!), and there's a decent number of good heroes that drop (Marksmen are my common example, but I think that the common Resist heroes (Mage/Enchantress) drop there too. I've found that it became pretty useless to me much later on, but thems the breaks, right?
Yeah my unused friend draws are up to about 30. Figured maybe that promised content update might even add more interesting/useful lower level characters. Starting to wonder whether that update will ever happen though. Been a long long time since I finished those books! I've been completely F2P as well. As I've said before I would gladly do some IAP if they ever offered anything remotely useful (think timers BTG!).
Hehe not quite there yet as i apparently dont have that many friends yet But will keep up with the friend draws to boost my money - as i always find stuff to buy in the shop. One thing that annoys the crap out of me with this here game is that when the boss drops after a random book battle its a completely different card you get.. That takes a bit of getting used to when you start out after having played PAD or TOS.
After five or six months playing, it's just accumulating now. No real use for it. Fairy draws are too rare, and mostly useless. I have better versions of everything I can draw there. And once you get so much, it just gets too annoying to draw one by one by one each time. Getting enough money for the weekly buys in the shop is pretty easy once you can run Dwarven Vault (Saturday/Sunday dungeon) on Hard. Drops between 80-115k each time. Heroic mode farming will start letting you accumulate enough to start saving for Midas and buy the books throughout the week. The wiki has a gold/exp analysis on those. Delfin, sorry to hear. We'll wait for you.
Yep thats pretty much exactly what I do. Stockpile stones and then on the particular day with a single day great hero (advertised in the news) I spend them. Be aware though chances are still really low even for the 3 increased chance weekly heroes. In all my draws I have never drawn one. The shame about the early heroes they offer for stones is first they are expensive and second it is at a stage of the game where you really don't know what a good hero is and what will complement the heroes you draw.
I hope with these expansions coming that they change some of the mechanics because the game really gets brutally grindy once you get up in level. I have 55AP and ran 3 Guardian of the Books today with a leveling wraparound. Got 3 green books out of those 3 runs which got my L67 Frog Prince less than one level. So approximately 10 hours of AP waiting time for that. Not going to retain many customers this way because I'm just not logging in.
So, XP farming primarily works best on Legendary Fable weeks, since their quests drop delicious amounts of XP books. I have 79 points, so I get 4 runs of Guardian of the Books per day. It's a decent way to get XP, but I'm not sure the XP/Stam cost is appropriate. I should do a rough estimation of possible XP per week on a standard week, but honestly, them moving GOTB into Saturday was terrible, because now you have to choose between XP or Money (money is the better choice). I'm hoping that they just made a mistake on it, but I dunno. Right now, I'm still enjoying the game, but... I can see myself becoming done with it. Especially with buggy version releases.
