Powergrinding is less important in this game (no team cost limits!), but still has its advantages. Getting yourself up to more runs per day of Guardian of the Books, and the swag dungeon (weekend) add up in the long run.

Plus, legendary fable runs seem to be the best place to stock up element-based XP books. I got Phoenix Prince from 1 to 94 based off of those runs. Pretty ballin'.

    Can't wait for False Prince.

No kidding! The legendary XP books you amass make the dailies a joke. I leveled some others (I'm red heavy) so I "only" got my Prince up to 74.

I am still not quite up to the legendary runs as still on book 22.

With my all green team, second last battle regenerating trolls are being a pain. Can't do enough damage with their regeneration before I run out of hearts dropping and can't heal enough.

If you have someone with poison i believe that would stop them from healing after throwing poison on them. That would be the simplest solution but not sure what you have available.

Thanks, I did try poison through friends as well as Phoenix prince and I get closer but my damage output is still too low.

I am certainly open to any ideas for a better team makeup if you have any. I try to get every character from missions I can

My current main Nature team is

Jack the Giant Slayer Lvl 75
    Sheriff of Nottingham Lvl 50
    Siren Princess Lvl 60
Robin Hood the MAster Archer Lvl 50

My Current Backup team mainly for dedicated Fire missions is

Jack the Giant Slayer Lvl 75
Thrushbeard, King of the Ax Lvl 60
    Master Warlord Lvl 50
    Inferno Enchantress Lvl 60

Main ones on the bench are

    Nature

    Nature Squire lvl 33
    Nature Enchantress lvl 1
    Green Ranger lvl 1
    Wood Mage lvl 1
    Emerald Alchemist lvl 1
    Nature Brute Lvl 1

    Water

Thrushbeard, King of the Ax Lvl 60
    Master Warlord Lvl 50
    Mountain Dwarf Lvl 1
    Frost Mage Lvl 20
    Sapphire Alchemist Lvl 1
    Water Druid Lvl 1
    Blue Ranger Lvl 1
    Water Brute Lvl 1
    Snow White Lvl 1

    Fire

    Inferno Enchantress Lvl 60
    The Beast's Castellan Lvl 1
    Sea Captain Lvl 1
Beast the Elite Warrior Lvl 1
    Ruby Alchemist Lvl 15
    Fire Brute Lvl 1
    Flame Apprentice Lvl 1

Let's see, if I'm remembering it correctly, that's the Rumplestiltskin book, and you're facing off against two trolls who heal for something like 20k per turn?

Poison is one way to stop the regeneration, and by the time you're up to them, it should be charged. If you've got an Ivy Shaman (I see you don't, but hold on), evolve her, potion her, and go to town. She's pretty strong all around.

Otherwise, you're going to pretty much have to brute force them, which means fire, and a lot of it. You don't really have a fire team to speak of right now (sorry), but here's what I would suggest based on your current heroes:
(Assume they're all in their final evo'd form)

    Castellan - Crit!
Beast - %Attack enhance, good stuff
Sea Captain - %Life increases, good stuff!
Nature Enchantress or Ruby Alchemist - Resist or life enhances!

Not quite sure that'll give you enough umph to get through the trolls, honestly, but it's something to work towards until you get to them. A Briar Rose or Aladdin team member will help a lot as well.

Yep thats the mission, good recall

Agree on all your points just wondering as well if that will be enough umph but probably a good place to start..
Also thinking on maybe saving for midas although that will take a while as only up to 2.2M.

I would also assume when I get Midas he will replace either the Sheriff of Nottingham or Robin Hood?

Really need some more good fire heroes to come up in special missions

Yeah, interesting point about XP not being worth the gold, but that's only true IF you are going for Midas. Otherwise it's a no brainer since there's nothing else to spend gold on.

Edit: I was post # 1000 in this thread. Where's my Merlin!? ;)

Hello all, I'm fairly new to the game, just wondering if anyone could tell me what purpose the fairy serves. I just earned one in battle, she's maxed at level 1, & I can't seem to find any use for her. Thanks for any help! Also if you would like to add me here is my code AU4hcTyKRp

Hi Harpua- I think we were discussing fairies a few pages back but they are solely to use for a skill merge (under the enhance menu in hero power up section) with a non-fairy, if they have the same active skill. The odds are low that the merge will be successful if you do it with just one fairy so you also have to collect a few before even trying. And then all it does is reduce your turn count by one to use that active skill.

So, I think the general consensus is that they are currently a waste of time and space.

I'm thinking that if BTG turned it into a general skill, rather than a Fairy for each specific skill, it'd be useless.

Until then, I'd say it makes more sense to try to farm for the heroes with the actual skill (no mean feat, the drop rates suck) rather than hoping for fairies for skill ups.

6x his attack so if 2k attack then 12k dmg to all enemies on screen

Okay thanks. That's what made the most sense, but it didn't feel like it, and of course you just get clouds with no numbers.

EDIT: just saw the number for the first time. Duh. New toy!

    His own attack.

That is, if you have 2,000 attack, he does 12,000 damage.

This is not affected by boosts, so a Phoenix Prince on a team with a Beast will still only do 6x damage, not 8.4x damage (6 * 1.4, for the 40% increase of Beast attack).

This IS affected by enchants and potions, so go to town with that. A 100 point enchant = 600 points of damage.

Edit: well, that was late. Still, hope it helps.

Thanks for the help, Rumpelstiltskin Book 22 done and dusted and onto 23.
A very kind forum member helped me with a lvl 120 Merlin which helped my nature team grind the trolls down. Seemed to work better than the poison or phoenix prince and final mission was no problem.

Now trying to get Little John, that heroic one is very tough with no hearts and have to settle with the hard level grind to get him

Except for the sake of collecting, I'm struggling to decide if Little John is worth the effort of obtaining. His active doesn't seem worth replacing one of my other nature guys for.
